Will you be around to admit you're wrong if Trump is not re-elected. Big talk is easy when you are not accountable
I don't even care for Trump all that much now, yet it seems obvious to me that the chances of him not being re-elected are zero. So I'm not saying it because I'm a Trump supporter now so much, but compared to who they have running against him, where some think Biden might be the best choice, not even Biden will be able to beat him.
Initially though, I was somewhat of a Trump supporter at the time until I found out how big of a liar he was about things. One thing I was hoping for if he got elected, that something would actually finally be done about these illegal Mexicans coming in here and taking jobs that should have been ours first. That turned out to be a big joke, that the Trump admin would actually help eliminate this problem altogether.
In the past some of these illegals have tried to kill me before on a job site that they said was theirs, and that I couldn't work there. This particular incident happened in Irving, Tx back in the 80s. I told them I was going to call Immigration then. One of them tried to split my head open with his drywall hatchet, but I was able to block it before that happened. Then he started hollering stuff in Spanish, and the next thing I know there are 7 or 8 them running in there to help him kill me I guess, but fortunately I was able to get way from them without injury.
I have also literally been homeless a few times because the illegals had all the work sewed up. So like a fool I initially thought if Trump got elected, finally these illegals will be going back to where they came from, in droves even. What a joke though. That's obviously never going to happen. So slowly but surely I started liking Trump less and less. But not because I felt he was being being racist about things, but because he seems to be one of the biggest liars I have seen around in a long time. But still, compared to the Dems currently running against him, Trump is still the better choice. And that's pretty sad, yet it's the truth.
And the times, they have a-changed...
Including the First Amendment?
And neither document were too keen on the topic of women in power -- fortunately, the one that matters can be and has been amended.
Considering that the Bible is a foreign document and a product of another nation and culture, you should probably send her a thank-you card... or do you not appreciate how close you just came to shooting your own argument in the foot?
In spite of the Bible, it should be noted...
The Biblical legal system calls for the death penalty for all these things as well -- take it from a non-believer; it's just as easy to ignore two holy books as it is to ignore one.
Again, not seeing a whole lot of difference between this and the Bible...
The highest court in Britain? International law coming from a foreign country, you mean?
You missed one foot -- then shot yourself in the other. And for that, I thank you.
Well just listen to the Squad, follow them and see where they lead you. The evidence is in their words and hatred - they are ugly. That's your opinion but they were democratically elected so have a right to act as members of Congress. If you are so intolerant of people with different views logically you should want a dictatorship where dissenters are eliminated. You do realize there are people who think you're anti-American.
Trump's rhetoric indirectly encouraged the chanting. How do you know whether his later criticism of it was genuine? At the time it looked as though he was proud of it.
You presented zero proper evidence for your many accusations.

Yeah that sounds scientific...This is really about 2020 then, right? The chance of Trump not getting reelected though, I would say are around zero. When Obama was President there were still a lot of people in this country that didn't like the idea, nor maybe even liked Obama personally, the same way many American's don't care care for Trump personally. It still didn't prevent him from getting reelected. The same is going to be true in Trump's case.
If you're wrong will you make make sure you admit it here?
Yeah that sounds scientific...

Although... if Biden selected Obama as his V.P. (which he almost certainly can't, but there might be a loophole...*) watching the Right's collective head explode would be worth it...

This is a pretty clever thought though, I'll give you that. That never even crossed my mind before. Let's hope there are no loopholes where something like this might have a possibility of happening.
Your wrong that the Bible is a product of a foreign nation - you still don't get it.
It's God's word, men did not contrive it. God chose a nation to work with, introduce himself, demonstrate His power, love and forgiveness, while the Israelites became the test group if you will, who followed and tried to obey His Word that He gabe to them, but they failed to keep the Law.
Ut the main goal was to give birth through many generations, our Savior, the Messiah, who would fulfill The Law for us.
It may be foreign to you, but to me, God is my Father and I, an adopted son. HIS WORD IS spiritual and from heaven. And this is how our founding fathers in America felt as well.
My feet are in good shape, I'm walking with the Lord on both of them.
As for women, you are correct, neither document approx ed of women having authority over men.
Oh boy, tongue in cheek stuff, just having fun you.Nevertheless, your friend with the antivenom has the "solution" for a problem which doesn't exist... If I had a nickel for every time I saw that on these boards...
God made a covenant with the Israelites. Many prophesies and promises have been fulfilled. God did not forget Israel, during the Great Tribulation.,which is at our doorstep, He will enlighten a remnant Jewish population to Christ. It's the product of a foreign culture... one too many Christians even today know nothing about.
That's what I said -- a foreign culture.
"us," or U.S.?
Your feelings are noted, but it doesn't change the fact that the the book is a foreign book chock full of foreign history, foreign culture, foreign references...appropriating it does not change its origin... it would have clearly run afoul of the law had it passed.
All the way to Israel -- the (foreign) country which is still the apple of God's eye.
And yet, they have it. There are currently 102 women in Congress, and three on the Supreme Court. Haven't had a female president yet, and only two (from major political parties) ever tried, but who knows? That, too, can happen.
The Constitution has no problem with that -- what sayeth the Bible?
Oh boy, tongue I'm cheek stuff, just having fun you.
Listen you and I have had many conversions in the past. I don't try to send hidden messages, I'm blunt, put it right on the table before.
If you out your faith in Jesus, believe that He died for our sins and rise on the third day, you will be saved. Saved from fro what? Death, spiritual death.
We have choices in life, and that is the big one.
If you want eternal life, He is the only who can offer you that.
Satan, on the other hand, is often referred to as a snake and will either inject deadly venom or strangle you, at best he will tempt you down the wrong path.
God made a covenant with the Israelites.
Many prophesies and promises have been fulfilled.
God did not forget Israel, during the Great Tribulation.,which is at our doorstep, He will enlighten a remnant Jewish population to Christ.
The purpose of the chosen nation was to bring forth a Messiah to the world. And so the apple of God's eye is every Christian.
He was being facetious. But isn't that the road people usually choose, the convenient one?As Mark Twain said, "I was dead for millions of years before I was born, and it didn't inconvenience me one bit."
No, that is quite an honest statement. That's the thing, you can't pretend, you can't somehow jumpstart that divine appointment.Another big one is: Should I pretend to believe in something when the truth is I don't?
Marcie wasn't for you and you couldn't really deliver on your promise, could you. Jesus does. And back in high school, I offered Marcie McCormick the sun, the moon, and the stars if she'd go out on a date with me. Suffice to say, the offer didn't impress her because she didn't think I'd deliver the goods.
Marcie McCormick probably came from a good Irish Catholic family ... who would probably steer her away from an agnostic! Now if you had said, "Marcie, look at those beautiful stars in heaven, what a wonderful awesome feature in God's creation"; that might have opened the door to her heart? And in all fairness, what was she going to do with the Sun, Moon, and stars anyway?
I'm gonna get slammed for being off topic soon. God made a covenant with them and many with those who believe in Him, the Gentiles, who are now the BODY OF CHRIST.Whom we are not.
YepWell, that's just God holding up His end of the covenant, isn't it?
Original covenant was not a sham. They misinterpreted it. They thought the Messiah was going to come back as a Lion from the Tribe of Judah and set up His rule and kingdom in all His Glory! That will take place at His Second Coming. The First Coming was to be a suffering servant, the lamb taken to slaughter, to remove the sins of the world. Many of them missed that, but a remnant received it and passed it on to the Gentiles. (Read Isaiah 53 - Jews to this day would misinterpret this chapter as meaning something other than a description of Jesus' life and sacrifice.First of all, why wait? Why not open their eyes and show them now that their original covenant was a sham?
