Yes, Its kind of like a magician, they pull off the illusion one time, but know to not try it again or they may be found out.
So instead of in the last fifty years going back to the moon. They do other projects etc... and just celebrate their illusion, to drag along another group into the future.

It will be interesting in the up and coming years what will the side distractions be. I hope it is better than an elon musk car in space, but when you have people hooked it does not take much.

Men and their ego, if anyone has went close to the moon. They would by now, have placed a camera on the moon to record the earth in motion. Showing actual recorded video of the rotating water ball floating in space.
To show actual video of that would be absolutely irresistible to the male ego.

This is funny at 1:03 there is this car and behind it is a big round image of earth that someone is pulling across the floor to give the illusion of movement. The jerking action of the earth moving is funny, it's like the person could not pull the earth smoothly across the floor.

Yeah, okay.

You don't actually have any real evidence to support your conspiracy theories...

My evidence is the lack of evidence. So there is footage of men walking around on the surface of the moon, riding around in their little car.

And all that is brought back is a sorry photo of the earth. You mean the greatest chance for film footage of a rotating earth floating out in space. That they could not have taken 1 minute 2 minutes even 5 minutes to record actual film of a rotating earth.

How many time did they go and not one single record of live film of the earth but just a sorry photo or photos.

The Earth rotates rather slowly. The amount of rotation in a few minutes would not be discernible to the naked eye. A picture is just as good.

Why the need for video? The video of them riding around in their "little car" proved that they were on the Moon to the scientifically literate.

You realise they went to the moon to investigate the moon, right? They weren't there for long. It's not like they stayed for a few days or anything. Why do you think they would waste time looking back at the Earth?

In any case, I note that you still haven't responded to my comments about camera lenses. Until you do, I'll take it to mean that when it comes to photography you don't actually know what you are talking about.

As it happens, they did look back at the Earth. Here is a photo taken on December 24, 1968:

There is video too, but it's blurry.

Here is a photo taken on July 21, 1969:

Nowadays, of course, there's a zillion different satellites showing us photographs and video of the earth.

And for those who think the astronauts were somehow "godless," the Apollo 8 crew read from the Bible during lunar orbit, and Buzz Aldrin (a Presbyterian elder) actually celebrated communion on the Moon.

The Earth rotates rather slowly.

Once every 23 hours and 56 minutes.

Exactly the same speed, in fact, as the motion of the stars at night.

And seeing the motion there requires either timelapse photography or a lot of patience.

The hubble telie$cope is just SOFIA, it's just a stupid plane with a telescope on it:
Stratospheric Observatory for Infrared Astronomy - Wikipedia

They have several that run 24/7 and fuel mid-flight.

The foolish pseudo scientists and technicians are receiving all the telemetry data from that plane and then think it's from the hubble.

You do realise that you can see the Hubble space telescope from earth, with a little knowledge and a sufficiently powerful telescope of your own? I did it as a high school student in Sydney in the late 1990s - the math nearly drove me nuts.

Its much easier now, there are websites that track its position in real time: Real time satellite tracking for: HST

Also, SOFIA's flight plans are logged MONTHS in advance.

Cycle 7 Current Schedule and Flight Plans | SOFIA Science Center

It's just one aging Boeing 747SP. I can even use the database at where I work to check out its current operating status, flight cycles, MRO situation, tail number ect, ect. If I plug it into an application, I can track it in real time via ADS-B broadcasts.

That means that I'm a part of the conspiracy. As would be the Fleets data team at my job. As would be similar teams at sister company Aviation Week (which I also have database access to) and at Flight Global (which I also have access to, but is a direct competitor).

Also, the flight authorities in New Zealand and the US - which log the movements - and Christchurch airport would need to be in on it. As would all the research partners, like the DLR, the Universities Space Research Association is, and he University of Stuttgart.

Or, the more parsimonious explanation is: You're wrong.

Not quite.

The US did indeed give moon rocks to the Netherlands. That isn't one of them.

The petrified wood was a personal gift from United States Ambassador J. William Middendorf II to Prime Minister Willem Drees, given well before NASA ever distributed moon rocks. It was also loose, not in a NASA display. It eventually found its way into a museum with a "moon rock" label, but that was a misunderstanding.

Brief recap: in the image, the phrases "we gave," "Holland", and "Moon rock" are all incorrect. Basically, it's a lie.

Behave. The meme has spoken, your facts are irrelevant.

And let's not forget that the stars are very dim. With a sunlit Earth, the long shutter speeds required to show the rotation of the planet would result in a blown out photo.

Didnt aliens land on the moon and fit gazillions of led lights on it to shine on the earth at night?

And the fact that they go out when they're not exposed to direct sunlight just goes to show that they're solar-powered, I guess.

Oh, you could do timelapse photography of the Earth from the Moon easily enough. It just would require many hours, or even days. Here's a truly beautiful one-year timelapse taken from the L1 Lagrange point, about 4 times as far away as the Moon:

I can do that at home, here. It's in the air right now, as I type.

True, but as I said, they didn't go to the moon to take pretty pictures of Earth. Taking the specialised equipment to get such shots would have meant they would have had less available for the science they were being sent to do.

The word of God says:
Genesis 1:16: And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

Falsely so called science says:
The moon does not have light. The sun's light is reflected off the moon surface.

So which do creationists believe? Are you really going to "adapt" God's word to aethiest science unscientific explanations? No man has gone past the firmament (they tried to in Genesis and God confounded them).

It may be bacteria present in the cheese the moon is made of that is causing it to glow.

They had did have some pretty cool camera equipment, for the time, and the film adapted for the conditions was cutting edge, particulary the super light sensitive emulsion used for some shots.

Unfortunately, a conspiracy led by Swiss banks and Swiss cheesemakers is hiding the truth that the Moon is made of cheese.
