After reading all these posts I am hungry for some Smurfberry Crunch Cereal. I wonder if there is any left in the cabinet.

I used to have so many of the cereal commercial jingles from the 80's memorized...THEY'RE GRRRREAT! Tony the Tiger thought so, so did I.

And who didn't own (or at least know a child who owned) one of these?

(Yes, I know this was more '70s, but I also recall that these dolls stayed popular partially through the '80s as well. Therefore, it counts, IMO.)

I remember when cartoons used to teach a lesson. At the end of some of them they would a short clip about the "moral of the story." They don't do that anymore. There's a lot of them that don't even really seem to have a plot or an ongoing story line.

Another great memory: When vocal ensemble groups would actually sing the radio station call letters!

(Might try to find examples of this later. It's really surprising in the big world of Youtube why I can't find good clips of this kind of thing. It would be great for the sake of nostalgia, which is what this thread is all about!)

I've also mentioned this in similar threads, but who can forget when TV stations signed off at night (actually, very early in the morning), then back on a few hours later?

Here are some examples of some nice ones I've found (now those seem to be all over Youtube!), plus, a Website I found a couple of years ago with quite a sizable collection of TV signoff clips of the past from all over the United States.
