Yes, this has been posted in the Christian Advice section for a reason. As we share with others what we think our middle name should have been, they might have some Christian advice for us?

I think that mine should have been Repent.

Robert Repent B_ _ _ _ _ _.

I relate for I have had many of those moments during my long lifetime.

Thank God that with His help I have found my home.

Kind of a long middle name. But appropriate.

My middle name should have been Anxiety.

Say it out loud. Has a nice ring to it, right? A classic name. Like a cross between Charity or Chastity and Antoinette.

Regal, even. But I’m not quite the Queen of Anxiety I used to be. God is teaching this very slow learner how to trust. May the learning continue.

The screw up

God doesn’t even think about your old screw ups. They’re forgiven. You don’t need to dwell on them or keep revisiting them. They’re gone! You’re clean and pristine, spotless.

Any new screw ups, you just ask forgiveness.

You are so loved!

Yes, I understand from experience about things being hard to forget. Haunting us, even.

What I shared with you is something I’d never really taken to heart until just recently. Hope it helps a little.

Paul of The Bible seemed to remember some of his?
Called himself the chief sinner.

I always thought that was me?

Don’t we all feel that way sometimes?

I guess the Apostle Paul would disagree with you.

I take comfort in seeing the people God is willing forgive and make new, such as Paul, formerly named Saul.
