The power of God is there to reach the lost. What can one man/woman do?

Revival is all around us, the masses are hungry for God and waiting for you to step out.

The picture is from yesterday.

The man in the picture started with serving in the children’s church at his local church, became faithful and then led a small group and then started in missions and today he reaches hundreds of thousands at a time.

He never waited for revival, he brought revival wherever he was.

What are you waiting for? How long will you make God wait for the precious fruit of the earth.

What would it be like to enter into heaven, be there for eternity praising God and being asked what did you do for the harvest?

We have His Word, His Great Commission, His Power and His Spirit.

Acts 1:but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.” 6 Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” 7 And He said to them, know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority. 8 when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and end of the earth.”
The Spirit and power is to be witnesses in all the earth. If you are not witnessing, there is no need for the power. Want more power - reach the lost.

Stop complaining and start doing the works. Stop sitting behind your keyboard more than you are witnessing in person. You are surrounded by opportunity - the lost, hurt and dying surround us. It's time to get involved.

We are NOT waiting on God - God is waiting on us.

I understand.. but this is not how the sweet sweet Holy Spirit moves. Take "if you are not witnessing, there is no need for the power" <---this is NOT written in the word. Those gifts the Holy Spirit gives.. not based on some action 1st.

:) forgive me.. who are you to tell Gods people what they should be doing? See GOD will tell them 1st.. they get a witness. And He does not judge nor condemn them. Never makes them feel bad.. guilty ever! Always love.. and peace.. the fruits of the spirit. We all should be a witness. Maybe tell them how EASY it is.. as in how to? To just share how God is working in your life. Thats witnessing..

In love
Psalm 27:14 - "Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord."

Isaiah 30:18 - "Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!

Wonderful to meet you and thank you for replying. God's very best to you!

Can you guide me to the scriptures where the manifestations of the Spirit were for any other purpose.

This call to obedient action is essential.
And so often met by resistance from those professing to be believers. Never from the world.

In other words your saying ..dont obey just wait.
Wait for a witness???
Umm because the lord JESUS did not leave enough witness in the written account of himself stating what is his will for ALL disciples?
Wrong!
Any disciple of JESUS that does not bare witness to men of the good news of Jesus is No disciple of Jesus.

You put this so well.
I agree.

:) I'm guessing the OP is intending with this thread to "exhort":

EXHORT - Definition from the KJV Dictionary

… and we do read in the Bible where we are told to exhort one another.

However
I do get concerned by any threads that appear to be "telling persons what they must do" with their lives.

Here in cyberlife, probably most of us do not personally know each other.

We know each other as casual cyber friends … perhaps …
but most of us know very little about each others lives, families, health, living situations, etc.

We just don't really know each other, aside from the words we type on the screen,
and those can be misleading, even deceptive.

So, for any of us to come online and start telling others the actions they must take with their lives … well, to me, that's 'a problem'.

It's not a problem for you or I. We can read the exhortations to "sell all and go to a foreign country with a knapsack on our back to begin a healing ministry" … and we can know not to listen, unless God has told us to do so.

But what about other posters, perhaps less mature in the faith, that take these 'exhortations' to heart, act on them, and end up messing up their lives by making reckless, irresponsible decisions???

You hit the nail right on the head:
We need to listen to God and do what HE says we should be doing with our lives.
God knows the plan He has for our lives, and how to best achieve that plan.
And He gave us the Holy Spirit, to teach and guide us into and thru His plan for us.

Again, I do not believe the OP is intending in any way to misguide people with this thread :) … just to 'exhort' … however, there are other threads in this forum that have concerned me for this reason of 'telling people what they must do with their lives'.

It is wrong, whenever we attempt to play "Holy Spirit" in the lives of others.
To do so can potentially be very harmful to them …
potentially making such behavior a sin for us, a sin against charity.

In our exhortations, I do believe we need to be careful.
I try to be.

Then the Lord said to Cain, "Where is Abel your brother?"
He said, "I do not know. Am I my brother's keeper?"

(Genesis 4:9)

Not really exhort -

Just saying it's time we get off our best intentions and stop focusing on self and reaching the lost. It's not time to be still complaining about church, the preacher, your neighbor or your own weaknesses, but it is time to go and reach the lost.

And that can take many different avenues IRL. First step I always suggest is getting hooked up with a church - not just attending, but actually ministering to others through the church. It's a good start. It is better than sitting at home behind a keyboard and bemoaning this and that.

Time is short - I'm not asking anymore what has Jesus done for you, but what have you done for HIm?

Personally for me a little encouragement to do something is a good thing. If anything I tend to be too complacent and a gentle reminder to do more for the kingdom is a good "exhorting". Maybe it doesn't make me sell all I have and go off to the hinder-lands, but it may make me volunteer a bit more and try to be more Christlike in my dealings with people.

One known proven reason many do not do so is the ones claiming to be thier "leaders" have failed to equip them ...and being unequipped leads to uncertainty and fearfulness...

Freely Teach people How to heal the sick ,share the gospel, drive out devils, baptise people And make more disciplee..and we find many more start trying to do so..its really quite amazing.
The one thing we should not do is hang with people who for all the learning and equipping still wont do it...
We must move on from those ones..they are free to follow along later when they repent...
A late comer to Toil in the masters feild is most welcome
