Normally when people don't have confidence in God is because they don't know how God feels about them. We need to have the encounter with the emotions of God.
Moses prayed and ask for God to show him His glory =beauty. God has a dynamic personality, passionate, gentle, kind. He reveal His personality to Moses.
When we grow in greater understanding of God's emotions, we are assured that God enjoys us even in our weakness. We will run to God instead of from Him when we stumble.
God proclaimed to Moses that 'I am the Lord, the Lord God means He has all authority, 'My name is jealous ' means He has loyal dedicated love towards us. He delights in showing mercy, connecting with us, God enjoys showing mercy to us.
Jeremiah in the book of lamentations wrote that Every single day is a new day , His mercy is new every morning.
Isaiah 55:7
