So refreshing,'turt'. I love this thought!"By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God" Heb 11:5
A source said in the Greek it means Enoch pleased God and God pleased Enoch.
I love reading your comments Anthony! You are a great encourager!"The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children. And if we are children, then we are heirs: heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ" (Romans 8:16)
What I enjoy most about God is that He is our kind, compassionate, Heavenly Father who is deeply moved by everything we do and feel.
When we are in mourning or sadness, the Lord shares with us in our pain (John 11:33-35). He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds (Psalms 147:3).
The Lord shares with us in times of joy. He rejoices over us with gladness, He renews us in His love, and exults over us with loud singing (Zephaniah 3:17).
Whenever we let Him down, we can say sorry in the full confidence that He will be gracious, gentle and tender towards us. He will bless us with his abundant forgiveness and mercy. The Lord delights in forgiving and embracing the sinner who turns to him and repents (Luke 15:20).
Never be afraid to cry out "Abba Father" since you have received the spirit of adoption (Romans 8:15) and can boldly approach the throne and receive mercy and grace in your time of need (Hebrews 4:16). You are a beloved child of your Heavenly Father and will forever belong to Him.
Thankyou 'turt'Enjoying this thread - as well as others.
The word "singing" in the original Hebrew means "ringing cry" - a cry of joy and triumph."The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing." Zep 3:17
Wonder what He sings?
