I seldom watch videos, and post them hardly ever.

But this less than 4 minute video of creationists visiting the Arizona Museum of Natural History is... well, I won't say worth your time. It's more impressive for how empty it is. I invite anyone who cares for a challenge to post any substantive argument contained in the video. Either an argument in favor of 'creationism' or an argument against any standard scientific knowledge contained in the museum.

I will quote theoretical physicist Sean Carroll quoting philosopher David Lewis during his debate with WLC, "I do not know how to refute an incredulous stare." Their "argument" presented in this video is, "nuh uh!!" And it's Eric Hovind. Really not much else needs to be said.

Anyway, that looks like a really cool natural history museum. I will have to make a point to visit it if I'm in Arizona again sometime.

I watched the video and while that was interesting I couldn't tell what was that which they were saying was "lies". Could you see what they were talking about? It was passed over too fast I think and not zoomed in enough.

I believe the display was showing a picture of distant stars x millions of light years away and then showing what the Earth was like during that time in history. So, they accepted the picture of the stars millions of light years away as "true" but called all of the stuff about life on Earth at that time (the position of the continents, the diversity of life at that time, the climate, etc.) "lies."

Thanks, that makes more sense.

There wasn't an argument for or against anything. Eric Hovind saying "Not true" several times does not constitute an argument. Bryan Melugin parroting doesn't make it any more of an argument.

The Mount Rushmore bit was priceless - way to miss a point!

What a pair of utter dorks.

I swear, Eric Hovind is Diet Kent Hovind. At least his father can sound convincing if you don’t know any better. Eric is every bit the moron he sounds like.
Perhaps someone should introduce him to Discount Hovind:

Looks like they do not understand Gods creation to say that one part is a lie (not really sure actually, what they were calling a lie) and turn around and say that stars billions of light years away is true.

When that is a lie as well, so looks like they are kind of confused and only believe part of the Bible about Gods creation.

Hm. I'm a bit disappointed with the video. But who am I kidding? I knew it would be trash before I even opened it up.

It does look like a cool museum though. That's about all I got out of it.
