Hello Fellow Christians,

My name is Tricia from Northern Bay Area California. I have struggled a bit in my faith though out the years and know that gods been patiently waiting for me to grow in Christ as I had before. I have been struggling in my personal life and feeling greatly over whelmed with a stressful job that has depleted my physical, mental and spiritual health. In the past when I have tried to gravitate toward getting closer with our father I have suffered great spiritual attack which has frightened and discouraged me. My 21 year old daughter is 39 weeks pregnant and has not had the easiest time through this pregnancy. She suffers from worrying of the unknown and i ask for prayer for her through this time. The baby has turned breech just yesterday and consequently she is scheduled for a c-section Friday morning. She is overwhelmed with fear and to be honest I am to as well. I ask for prayer for her in this time of the unknown that our father may give her the peace knowing he has full control and her and my baby grand daughter will be just fine.

Thank you all and god bless!

You shall rejoice and be strengthened. God will certainly safeguard both mother and child. He is there with you and the baby and it is He who ultimately brings life into existence. His hands are upon you and He is working with you through this process.

Have hope and faith.

Dear lord and heavenly father.

Please bring peace to Tricia's daughter during her procedure
Ease her pain and suffering so she can recover from delivery

Pray in the name of Lord Jesus Christ.

Amen

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and concerns with us. These forums are great for sharing burdens, and venting. Let me tell you my friend that you are important, valuable, worth of dignity. You are a child of God, a God that loves you unconditionally, not matter what He never abandons you. As you say in your post, Sacred Scripture says that God is slow to anger, full of mercy and steadfast. I would like to share with you one particular verse from the Scriptures that may enlighten you. In the book of Job(Ch.23 vs.10-11), it says ‘He knows the way I take; when He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold’. ‘My foot has held fast to his steps; I have kept His ways and have not turned aside’. This is a wonderful promise from God to us. That does mean that if we decided to follow God we should be able to be ready for the test. However, He promises us that we will be more than conquerors on that. Also, in the chapter of St. Paul to the Corinthians(2nd Corinthians Ch.12 vs.9) ‘But He said to me, my grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness’. That does mean that God knows our weaknesses but He asks us to ask for his aid (grace) to overcome not just temptations but all spiritual battles that we have to deal in our lives. Definitely if you read Ephesians 6, 11-18 God gives us instruction how to fight back the evil one when Saint Paul says ‘Put on the armor of God so that you may be able to stand firm against the tactics of the devil. For our struggle is not with flesh and blood but with the principalities, with the powers, with the world rulers of this present darkness, with the evil spirits in the heavens. In all circumstances, hold faith as a shield, to quench all [the] flaming arrows of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. With all prayer and supplication, pray at every opportunity in the Spirit. To that end, be watchful with all perseverance and supplication for all the holy ones’. This means that is important to feed our souls with his Sacred Word every day. I encourage you to find time to read in the early morning before going to work to have an encounter with Our Heavenly Father, and allow that his Word talks to you. The Sacred Word is alive word like a sword trespasses our hearts. If you have a Bible at home have you ever thought to open your Bible and start for the New Testament? I was told by a Brother that is good start for the Chapter of Mark. I hope everything is okay with you, your daughter and granddaughter. Have you considered to seek counseling or therapy for your daughter? Counseling or therapy works through things like this. She is valuable and worthy of fighting for. Perhaps counseling may help your daughter in her own lives and with conquering the fears your daughter has. I hope this helps. Sending you hugs. I will keep you in my prayers for your daughter, granddaughter and you my friend!
