There comesca point where you realize that the only thing you can do is either laugh or cry.

I choose to laugh.

Me too, and I have done that. However, laughing only helps to ignore the problem. It works for a while, but eventually someone has to say or do something - if only so that there is a record that one did NOT participate, and tried to do everything s/he could to prevent demise.

Very few wants to confront negativity today, and that is how you get rid of it. Ignoring the bull going on testers it's like it has with the isms of America. They haven't been destroyed, only nurtured and transformed into more sophisticated forms.

Should I bring my kids, for example, into such a cyclic mess? Should I even bother "contributing" to this society, or should I expatriate and build a family in another nation? People are asking these questions, and the "diaspora," as it were, is happening.

If the 6.4 was a 9.4 in Cali, Americans would be so focused on which politicians caused the quake, and which demographic of people is the object of God's demise. Some would blame those who believe in a God for ignoring non-spiritual signs (like failed infrastructure and vulcanism), every race will blame each other, and then the US would collapse just because of its abundance of disdain, and lack of unity. A nation can easily exploit that (many are right now).

The consequences are astronomically dismal, and we are all laughing while we implode. Clearly, we don't think anything is a problem, because we feel we still have the luxury to indulge manufactured or innate "isms," and ignore who/what is exploiting that evil. That is why America is imploding, just like every other "great" empire. What is going on is a cliche of history, which is why it is hard to laugh (or cry) often because we should already know the outcome and details.

Now THAT is funny for being so obviously contrary to the facts.
Come along. Trump made a few gaffes in his speech last night. So what? He's just a silly fellow who is not very well informed about history (or much of anything else, for that matter) so laugh and move on. But look how much energy is being expended trying to show that they weren't really gaffes and anyway Obama was worse, etc. That's really worth making fun of.

I may comment on them if someone brings them up. Or I may not. Here the subject is only the one about airports.

And although you quote me in your post, your comment following it had nothing to do with it, I noticed, so what's that all about??

The nation is the thing that is "fake." Anyone with enough money, connections and people to follow them can make a "nation". What keeps a nation together is unity in the "people that follow" - the citizens. Because America's history (and modernity) is at most superficially addressed, there is always disunity that dissolves any discernible progress made. If American people could at least see each other as human (which, clearly not all Americans see other Americans as human), then that would be a start. The next thing would be the psychological scrubbing of the hyphenated American. That is part of the inherent proof of the disunity and non-confrontational passivity.

We need to want to fix ourselves. Nothing I am saying is new or particularly profound; the will power of us, collectively, is so weak that we cannot shake the psychology we have been bred with for the sake of the best possible chance of the romantic ideal we think America is in our heads. The solution is that simple: change our thinking, see everyone as a human, and then America actually becomes great. Keep doing what we have been doing, and we stay in the illusion of greatness while existing degenerate - even to our own destruction.

Indeed. That's why I said what I am saying isn't particularly profound, or new. Yet, He has also told us this would happen, which is why I am saying each of us must make a conscious effort to do the right thing. There is no need to call for revolution, even, because the action that matters is spiritual: are we participating in the psychological/spiritual mechanisms that generate this worldly degeneracy (war, famine, genocide, isms, etc.) In fact, we don't need to do anything; nations rise and fall all of the time. Not doing/saying/protesting something is also an action, and it can be the right one or the wrong one depending on the circumstance.

Yeah. Also, maybe swine will become airborne under their own power. Until then, if you can't see the humor in the absolute absurdity, I can't help you.

It could definitely happen - the swine gong airborne.

Which is why I am going above and beyond my cynicism for humanity by even suggesting the content of the "essays" I wrote above - in the hopes that eventually 1, then 2, then 10, then thousands will stop throwing their hands in the air, and realize they don't have to take what they are being given every single generation. We need to stop laughing at absurdity at some point, and actually confront it for the better or worse - but we can't just keep laughing.

Trump managed to declare the revolutionary armies manned the air, and capture d the airports, in one of the biggest patriotic speeches of his presidency:doh:

More than a sneeze.
What would you have done if you were reading along on the teleprompter and these words came up?

I think I would have stopped and made a joke out of it. Maybe saying someone was trying to punk me and then read it aloud and laughed. Then gone back to the speech, at least I'd like to think I would have done that. But it's more likely I would have just skipped over it.

I'm pretty sure I can. But then again, I have a reasonable exit strategy.

I should have said if we want to positively change our trajectory for ourselves, progeny and/or society, we cannot just keep laughing. But, you are right: if you have an exit strategy that protects those you care about, you have that sovereignty to keep laughing.

Yeah, but that assumes that we are capable of changing trajectory. You're suggesting that as the ship sinks, we somehow will it back to port?

What happened with Nineveh when Jonah showed up? It is possible to change the alleged inevitable; it we choose to do nothing we give in to the inevitable. Action shows intent, and even if we still sink we will know whether we contributed, fought to keep it afloat, or some passivity in between. History will call those of us who do, or do not do anything anyway. h

But, my point isn't necessarily to change either: it is about a sealing. As said, the nation/kingdom itself is fake; the persons are the ones making records in [the Book of] Life. Babylon and Egypt are spiritual nations with spiritually contributing citizens; the physical is the distraction from the reality. I guarantee that the enemy knows who will and will not fight it on regression, but we don't. This life is our chance to see who we are, and why we deserve to be where we will be after this life.

Any one else and would never have made the news. Since its Trump the left will have a field day..

I agree that this was a simple error. But remember Trump mocks everyone and he constantly tells us how much smarter he is than anyone else. As such he wants you to mock his intelligence or he wouldn’t act as he does

And he is the one who incessantly mocked Obama and Clinton for their use of TelePrompTers in speeches...

His current excuse for his ridiculous “airports” gaffe...?

“The TelePrompTer stopped working”...!
