Jesus said : " I am the bread of life , the bread that comes down from heaven, which anyone may eat and not die. I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever. Your ancestors ate manna and died, but whoever feeds on this bread will live forever."

There are no dead in Christ.
I'm not trying to start an argument, I just honestly want to know.

1 Thessalonians 4:16 the apostle Paul teaches, "For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first."

If they are dead and will arise how can they now pray for us. I just earnestly want to know.

LOL. Not starting an argument, and then argue. Nice.

CATHOLIC ENCYCLOPEDIA: Particular Judgment

Soul proceed to heaven are judged in the particular judgement immediately. Bodies are raised and glorified and unied with the soul and judged in the general judgment at the end.

Think also that we know that Christ went to limbus patrum and freed the righteous who died before He came. That's what the line in the Creed descended to the dead or descended into hell means. All of early Christianity is in agreement on that.

Plus he didn't tell the good thief that he would be with him in paradise thousands of years in the future.

They (we) will "sleep" as if dead until the resurrection. In the meantime our spirit, our life essence, will be in God's care.
But the is not, actually, what is meant by sleep, friend. It is not a "soul sleep". Rather, Scripturlly, it is a euphamism for the end of physical life, as, from our point of view, it looks as though one has fallen asleep.

What did Paul say about whether he preferred to live or die? He would be with the Lord either way. He wouldn't be 'dead'. Those alive in Christ are alive, and can pray for us. The Bible speaks of a 'cloud of witnesses' and of the saints making offerings for us. Protestants don't know what to make of this, so they attack us when we ask the saints to pray for us.

Definition of a Fellowship Post

It is not:

It is not debate.
It is not apologetics.
It is not answering questions related to the beliefs of the group.
It is not teaching in any way on any issue

It is:
Essentially Fellowship is defined as a discussion of topics of association, of companionship - i.e. discussions of things like friends, family, work..... these are fellowship posts. And posts that genuinely offer friendship would certainly be described as fellowship.

If saints are dead how can they pray for us?
The Church is one body. Christ does not have two bodies. Those who die in Christ are still very much in the body of Christ.
If one part of the body suffers, the whole body suffers, and if one part of the body rejoices, the whole body rejoices. The dead in Christ are still in communion with the living in Christ. We are intimately linked due to being one body.
The Church is also a communion of love. Christ commands us to love one another. Those who have died in Christ do not cease to love their brothers in Christ, nor do we cease to love our brothers who have passed on. That they can hear our prayers is evidenced by the innumerable miracles which have occurred through their intercession over the last 2000 years.

Revelation 6:9-11 tells of the souls of the martyrs in heaven asking how long until they are revenged

This shows three things
The righteous dead are conscious in heaven
They petition the Lord
And they are aware of events on earth (as they are aware that the wicked individuals responsible for their deaths had not been punished yet)
