2 cor 2:6So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, 7for we walk by faith, not by sight. 8Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord. 9So whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please him.10For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.

But shouldn't people be in heaven only after Judgement Day? How come they are now there before they are judged?

1 thes 4 13Brothers, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you will not grieve like the rest, who are without hope. 14For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, we also believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in Him.

If they are asleep in Jesus, how can saints pray for us in heaven? I have that specific question. As I don't know very well, even though I read it, the whole Judgement Day, I thought there would be a final judgement day where all would be judged. I don't know what is "Bema seat".

Those who are a sleep in Jesus are those believers that have already died.

Bema seat is the judgement that believers will receive concerning what they have done for Christ.

1 Cor 3:10According to the grace of God given to me, like a skilled master builder I laid a foundation, and someone else is building upon it. Let each one take care how he builds upon it. 11For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw— 13each one’s work will become manifest, for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed by fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has done. 14If the work that anyone has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward. 15If anyone’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire.

But if people who died are asleep, how can the saints pray for us?

Asleep means died.

Secondly, I believe those who have died don't pray for us. I see no biblical support saying the dead (those who have fallen asleep) can pray for us.

But in the Catholic faith people believe saints can pray for them, and ask them to intercede for us.
I would like to know how and why Catholics believe that.

So would I. So far I have seen no biblical support. Perhaps this is where tradition comes in.

Because people pray to saints, there must be people in heaven. How do you support this with bible scripture, also, or the catechism.
In Revelation John tells us of the heaven he saw .

" Then one of the elders asked me, "These in white robes--who are they, and where did they come from?"I answered, "Sir, you know." And he said, "These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore, "they are before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will shelter them with his presence .Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat down on them,' nor any scorching heat. "
