Trump’s claim Obama begged to meet with North Korea’s Kim Jong Un is unproven
No American president has met with a North Korean leader since that nation's inception, based on the premise that a meeting with the US leader should serve as an incentive for successful negotiations - not a venue for discussions that should be conducted at the diplomatic level!
Once you get beyond the Trump "hype," Kim gets all the international prestige of 3 photo ops with an American President without having to agree to any concrete concessions!

Trump was never charged with "collusion" because it has never been a recognized crime under the American statutes - "conspiracy" is a crime but much harder prove!
Trump stated repeatedly that he had no business dealings with Russians - at the same time that his representative, Michael Cohen, was conducting negotiations!

If you'd like to discuss colluding you should start a thread about that where that can be discussed. this thread is about what's in the OP.
The fact that President Trump made a claim and couldn't present any evidence for that claim is what gave him the false. Can you present some evidence supporting President Trumps claim? If not, then what President Trump said was false. Which would be his 236th false.

I was relating the false collusion narrative, (and, btw, all the bad things related to it, which are MANY) by itself enough to warrant investigation and to cast aspersions on those who all day want to knock Trump about. But you want to focus on 236 false things, some of them exaggerations, no doubt, some of them mistakes, but the narrative is, of course, that Trump lied.
No, I didn't want to discuss colluding --I wanted to point out hypocrisy and blind partisan hatred.

So if you can't produce proof he made a false claim, his failure to back up what he said makes it false? Did someone ask him to back it up? Has anyone tried to? Yet daily while someone catalogues every false move of Trump's, nobody of those cares to discuss or document the lies and deception and corruption of the left in these last two-and-a-half years --you know-- in the interest of fairness.

I'm sure his people that are starving to death really care about Photo ops. That fills their belly for sure! Kim is a beyond a cruel leader, and basically ignoring him hasn't moved the needle either.
I see it has no harm no foul. No one really knows how the inner circle of that country works. and what would help anything.
Heck we don't even know if it will show 'prestige' within that country outside the few that pay attention. I mean the rest are just trying to survive, and I doubt a photograph is going to do much for their daily survival. They are forced to treat the man like a God, or face brutal circumstances. I wouldn't call that genuine. It's a 'prestige' moment in his own mind maybe. International Prestige? lol from WHOM?!
We also will never know WHAT President tried and failed to meet on any substance with this country.
As long as they doesn't shoot nukes or take out any country? That the best we can hope for.

uhmmm...if you make a claim and then can't actually provide evidence to support the claim? That's actually pretty much the definition of a false claim.

...you haven't looked at the site where I got this from, have you? I'd suggest you do so. To be fair, President Trump (because he's President) gets a lot of attention...he also tends have very little interest in being accurate or truthful, so...he's pretty easy to disprove. But again, that site evaluates people from all sides of the political spectrum.
