The President is preparing to ascend to the review stand. I’m inspired already. MAGA! Personally, I prefer royal blue to compliment the President’s complexion and hair.

This color (below) would work better for Obama, IMO. But this outfit may be the summer uniform and a darker one will be made for winter campaigns.

....according to CNN:

* There will be a flyover by the plane that is Air Force One. (It is only technically called "Air Force One" when the President is on board, which he won't be.) The Navy's "Blue Angels" will also be performing a flyover

[Blue Angels had been scheduled to perform in Iowa....and an empty 747 flyover....really?]

* There will a ground stop at Washington Reagan National Airport from 6:15 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. and then again from 9 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. to accommodate the flyovers and fireworks, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

[too bad for those flying into DC for the July 4th holiday]

* Trump will deliver a speech from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial.

Big boy president wanting tanks on the Mall reminds me of this:

Just a whole lot less funny, and 100% more of a strongman boondoggle (much like Donny himself!)

If Donald Trump (a former draft dodger and a man who insulted a POW war hero by insisting that he likes people who weren't captured) wants to celebrate July 4th and publicly stroke his insecure ego in the process, then more power to him. But maybe this time he'll remember to place his right hand over his heart during the Anthem and he won't have to nudged in the gut by his third wife or maybe he'll actually remember the lyrics to God Bless America this time and won't pretend to be singing.

Has anyone considered that maybe Trump will deliver a somber speech, disassociated with partisan division, tribal rancor and his own ego. Maybe it will be a tribute to all America's people regardless of party, race or religion.
