I don't care what they believe. I care what the Bible says.

First, the Bible clearly teaches God's grace through faith + Works of faith = Salvation. I used to believe the lie of Belief Alone-ism until I studied God's Word to show myself approved on the matter. I am a Trinitarian Sola Scriptura non-denominational Christian. Belief Alone-ism is the ever growing popular belief. Yet, Jesus said narrow is the way (Matthew 7:14). Yet, most Trinitarian Sola Scriptura churches believe in Belief Alone-ism. Protestantism (that supports Sola Fide or Faith Alone) is the second largest Christian denomination (with 920 million adherents).

Second, many Eternal Security Proponents will say that works are a condition of being saved. But this is just a work around of saying that one needs works as a part of salvation. However, there are believers like George Sodini who are at least consistent in saying that works plays no part in a believer's salvation. George admits that Jesus saved him by his having a belief alone in Jesus despite his future declaration that he was going to kill a bunch of people, and besides his future declaration that he was going to take his own life (within his own suicide letter).

It does not make it any better if a Christian says that they generally live a holy life, and yet they sin on occasion and they cannot help but to sin on occasion (and yet they are saved even when they sin on occasion). Justifying a lot of sin is no different than justifying a little bit of sin done every once in a while. Jesus said to those believers who thought they did wonderful works in his name to depart from Him because they worked iniquity or sin (See: Matthew 7:23). They were told to depart from Him because they did not know Him. 1 John 2:3 says that we can have an assurance in knowing the Lord if we find that we are keeping His commandments. 1 John 2:4 says that the person who says they know the Lord and does not keep His commandments is a liar and the truth is not in them.

Most do not understand that when they read Paul, they do realize that he was arguing against the heresy at that time (i.e. Circumcision Salvationism). This was the belief that taught that one had to first be circumcised in order to be initially and ultimately saved (Instead of placing faith in Jesus Christ as one's Savior and believing in His death and resurrection for salvation).

The heresy of Circumcision Salvationism was more accurately described in detail at the Jerusalem Counsel:

  1. Acts of the Apostles 15:1 says, “And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.”
  2. Acts of the Apostles 15:5 says, But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.”
  3. Acts of the Apostles 15:24 says, “Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:”

Here are the verses by Paul that alludes to this heresy:

  1. Galatians 2:3 says, “But neither Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised:”

  2. Galatians 5:2 says, “Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.”

  3. Galatians 5:6 says, “For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.”

  4. Galatians 6:15 (NLT) says, “It doesn't matter whether we have been circumcised or not. What counts is whether we have been transformed into a new creation.”

  5. 1 Corinthians 7:18-19 says, 18 For instance, a man who was circumcised before he became a believer should not try to reverse it. And the man who was uncircumcised when he became a believer should not be circumcised now. (NLT) 19 “Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but what matters is the keeping of the commandments of God.” (NASB)

  6. Romans 2:28-29 says, “For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.”

  7. Romans 3:1 says, “What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision?”

  8. Romans 4:9-12 says, ”9 “Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness. 10 How was it then reckoned? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision. 11 And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also: 12 And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised.”

  9. Acts of the Apostles 21:21 says, “And they are informed of you, that you teach all the Jews who are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, saying that they ought not to circumcise their children, neither to walk after the customs.”

In other words, this is why Paul spoke in the way that he did. Paul was not arguing against the necessity of obedience to the commands of Jesus and His followers. Paul said if any man does not agree with the words of Jesus Christ, and the doctrine according to godliness, he is proud and he knows nothing (1 Timothy 6:3-4). Jesus agreed with the lawyer on the truth that we must love God and love our neighbor as a part of inheriting eternal life (Luke 10:25-28). In Matthew 19:17-19, Jesus said to the rich young ruler, "if you will enter into life, keep the commandments"; This was in context to the Moral Law (like: Do not murder, do not covet, do not steal, etc.). Jesus says if you love me, keep my commandments (John 14:15). Paul says if any man loves not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be accursed (1 Corinthians 16:22). Paul said we can deny God by a lack of works (Titus 1:16). Paul says if we live one way (towards sin) we are going to die, but if we put away our sin (via the Spirit) we will live (i.e. have eternal life) (See Romans 8:13).
I can tell you cut and pasted this from somewhere, I don't have the time to read it all. You seem to be talking out of both sides of your mouth, you say you are saved by grace through faith, but then you say that the faith has works. But let me mention this, some times people don't have any works, and they are still saved. It mentions carnal christians in romans. Eventually they will bear fruit, but they may not right away. I don't think assurance of salvation is technically there, logistically speaking. But they very well can be under grace. For example when you were first saved did you understand that you were not supposed to listen to secular music, or watch rated R movies? Or what about this, what about smoking. Someone who smokes are they saved? What if they are addicted to it? These are questions that you cannot answer, and this is why your view fails.

I believe God gives us grace, as that is what grace is for. I don't think that those who are addicted to sin are not saved. For example if you see a beautiful woman at church and you look at her more than two times, are you saved? After all that is considered lust. So, you can see my point. If your rules are correct, no one is saved because no one is holy. Now I believe there is a difference between living in an unrepentant state and being addicted and living in a shameful state. You don't diffrentiate this crucial difference. See someone who is addicted to inappropriate contentography, or looking at women at church or on twitter or instagram, they are still saved. As long as this happens, as long as when they know they are sinning, they are ashamed of it, and ultimately this shame causes a repentance. Even if short term. Those who are addicted to sin, will try to repent over and over again. And they are saved for sure, as our salvation is not based on merit. But on Christs merit. But if they were proud of their sin, and desired not to be convicted of their sin anymore, as in a homosexual going to a gay pride parade, and living with his boyfriend in sexual sin. They are no longer ashamed of it. So at that point the sin can cause some damage to salvation and faith. See if you no longer wish to be convicted of sin, you start to get bitter towards all those telling you it is sin. Christians and even Jesus, and the Bible. You start to remove those influences that tell you that this sin is unacceptable, and eventually this can cause doubt in the validity of the Bible and you lose faith in Jesus, possibly not even believing in His sacrifice on the cross again. But to the person that is ashamed of thier addiction, they have grace. And they have eternal security because they want to have it.

But salvation is not based on performance:
Then they said to Him, “What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?”

Great proof text for salvation being of the Lord, and not man.
And that verse affirms the work of God is what saves you. In fact the verse affirms Calvinism, if you know the works of God can not be resisted.
No one has resisted His will, ultimately.

Romans 9
19 You will say to me then, “Why does He still find fault? For who has resisted His will?
20 But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed say to him who formed it, “Why have you made me like this?”
21 Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dishonor?

I agree with your sentiment as long as you don't believe that we are saved by obeying the law. Ultimately our obedience comes as a result of sanctification. But at the same time, as in the OP we can sin too many times the same sin and it can decieve us into not believing anymore. WE are eternally secure as long as we stay in the fortress of the elect, but as soon as we leave the fortress we are no longer secure. But don't get me wrong, no outside force can remove salvation and neither can performance. Salvation is not based on our performance as a christian, if it was, we could boast that one were more spiritual than another. Ephesians 2:8.

But you are saved by obeying the Law. God's grace is a part of God's commands. For 1 John 3:23 says that believing in Jesus is a commandment. Acts of the Apostles 17:30 says that repentance is a commandment. Can you be saved without believing in Jesus and without repentance? Jesus said repent or perish (Luke 13:3) (Note: I believe "repentance" means to seek forgiveness with the Lord Jesus Christ, and "forsaking sin and or living holy" is the fruits of repentance.).

So obviously Paul is not talking about all forms of God's commands or laws when he says you are not saved by works or the Law. Paul was referring to the "Works Alone Salvationism" that did not include God's grace as the entrance gate for our salvation, and the ultimate way of salvation. But after we are saved by God's grace through faith in Christ, Sanctification is required as a part of God choosing us to salvation. It says so right in the Bible.

"...God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth" (2 Thessalonians 2:13).

God has chosen us to salvation through two things:

#1. Belief of the Truth (Jesus is the Truth - John 14:6).
#2. Sanctification of the Holy Spirit (Living holy - See 1 Thessalonians 4:3, Romans 8:13, Galatians 5:16).​

In fact, Paul says that if you live one way (i.e. if you live in sin), you are going to die, but if you live another way (i.e. if you put to death sin in your life) via the Holy Spirit, you will live (i.e. live eternally) (See: Romans 8:13, and also compare it with Romans 8:1 in the King James). Paul says you can deny God by a lack of works (Titus 1:16). This means works are necessity to knowing the Lord, and in knowing Him, we have eternal life (See: 1 John 5:12).

While the following passage below is talking about the Old Law that is technically no more (as a whole or package deal), the principle truths (stated in the below passage) is timeless, and it can be applied to God's laws today (under the New Covenant Laws) that come from Jesus and His followers.

Lets read it:

7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward." (Psalms 19:7-11).​

So if the above passage does not apply to us today in any way, then we might as well rip this page out of our bibles and ignore such a passage. But if the above passage can be applied to our life today as believers, then the bible breathes as a whole and thus it all gives glory to God. For all Scripture is profitable for doctrine, correction, and instruction in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

I believe you are failing to understand that Paul was referring to "Law Alone Salvationism" (without God's grace) in Ephesians 2:8-9. Paul here is primarily teaching Justification here. In verse 10, Paul alludes briefly to necessity of how God directed works are a requirement after we are saved by God's grace. So, to put it to you another way, in Ephesians 2:8-10: Paul wanted to make it clear that we are not putting the cart before the horse. For we are initially and ultimately saved by God's grace, but that does not mean we can live however we like because we are saved by having a belief on Jesus. But if a belief alone on Jesus is all that is required for salvation, then how you should live does not really matter. Some in the Belief Alone Camp will say that believers are radically changed and they cannot help but to do good, and thus they will not justify sinning with the thinking they are saved. So they are saying that works and holiness are a condition of the saved. But this is not what the Bible teaches.

We have to endure or overcome to the end as a part of salvation (Hebrews 3:13-14, James 1:12, Matthew 24:13, Revelation 2:7, Revelation 2:10, Revelation 2:11, Revelation 3:5).

We have to continue in the grace of God (See: Acts of the Apostles 13:43).
We have to continue in the faith (See: Colossians 1:23, Acts of the Apostles 14:22).
We have to keep ourselves in the love of God (Jude 1:21).
We have to continue in his goodness, otherwise we can be cut off like the Jews (See: Romans 11:21-22).

On the flip side of the coin (involving Sanctification), James was teaching against "Belief Alone Salvationism." For even the demons believe and tremble (James 2:19). James says he will show you his faith by his works (James 2:18). James says faith without works is dead (James 2:17). Can a dead faith save anyone? James says we are justified by works and not by faith alone (James 2:24). If you believe the latter half of James 2:24 that being justified by faith is referring to how we are justified by faith in God, then you must also accept the first half of the verse that says we are justified by faith in God by works. To break apart the verse and say that we are justified by men via works and then justified by faith in God is not consistent with James 2:24 in what it plainly says. Also, Abraham was justified by works by offering up Isaac upon the altar. No men were present for Abraham to be justified in their presence. Abraham and Isaac were alone with God and God even commended Abraham for his obedience and blessed him as a result of his obedience (Which shows that he was also justified by works before God).

In other words, in Ephesians 2:8-9, Paul was teaching Justification, and in James 2, James was teaching Sanctification. Folks easily confuse the two or they try to make salvation one way or the other (i.e. Belief Alone-ism or Works Alone-ism). Salvation is a healthy balance in God's grace through faith in Christ (and His mercy), + the Sanctification of the Holy Spirit (Holy living).

If what you say is true, then Paul should teach a radically different way of salvation than Jesus. But Paul nowhere speaks against what Jesus Christ teaches. Paul says that if any man does not agree with the words of Jesus Christ and the doctrine according to godliness, they are proud and they know nothing (1 Timothy 6:3-4). Jesus agreed with the lawyer on the truth that to love God and to love your neighbor is a part of inheriting eternal life (Luke 10:25-28). Jesus said to the rich young ruler, "If you will enter into life, keep the commandments." (See: Matthew 19:17-19). Note: Please keep in mind that God (who is good alone) does the good work through the believer. Even John says that if any man hates his brother (i.e. the opposite of loving your brother), they are like a murderer, and no murderer has eternal life abiding in them (1 John 3:15).

It is not contradictory to be saved "God's grace + Works of Faith." Both statements are true (according to the Bible). God's grace is related to like the receiving of a gift. In God's grace, if a believer happens to stumble into sin on rare occasion, they can confess of their sins to be forgiven of sin (and thereby glorify God's grace as the ultimate path or way to salvation). But God's grace teaches us to deny ungodliness and that we should live righteously and godly in this present world (Titus 2:11-12). The reason Christ died for us (His grace) is for the purpose of sanctifying the church with the washing of the water of the Word (Scripture) so as present to Himself a church that is holy and without blemish (See: Ephesians 5:25-27). Sanctification via the Holy Spirit or the other members of the Godhead or the Trinity is also a "Work of God" and God does get all the glory for this work, as well. We do not boast in our own works like in Ephesians 2:9 when we do a good work. We boast in the Lord Jesus Christ, for without Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5).

Justification works in harmony with Sanctification. Justification clears away one's past slate of sin. Sanctification helps us to live holy and give honor to the Justification process. Works Alone (without God's grace through) obviously denies God's grace. But God's grace was always supposed to actively work in harmony with Sanctification. If not, then you can live like the devil and just believe in Jesus. But show me where that is taught in the Bible. Show me where we can justify any amount of sinning in the Bible under God's grace. You will not find such a teaching.

As for carnal Christians: In Romans 8, it says the carnal mind is at enmity with God. So no. No carnal Christians are going to make it unless they repent (seek forgiveness with the Lord), and they forsake their evil ways. You have to remember, that Jesus said that the Ninevites will rise up against this generation and condemn it because they repented at the preaching of Jonah (Matthew 12:41). If you were to turn to Jonah chapter 3 (Jonah 3:6-10), you would learn that the King of the Ninevites told his people to do two very important things.

#1. Cry out to God (Repenance, seeking forgiveness with God),
#2. Forsake their evil and wicked ways (the Fruits of Repentance).

The city of Nineveh was going to be destroyed. But judgment and wrath was averted by what the Ninevites did. But what is interesting is that GOD did not turn away His wrath and judgment when they simply cried out to God for mercy. GOD turned away his wrath and judgment when they forsaken their wicked and sinful ways. Please read the chapter for yourself. You will confirm that is what it says plainly.

It was because of iniquity (i.e. sin). Jesus said I never knew you because they worked iniquity or sin. Jesus did not say to those believers in Matthew 7:23 to depart from Him because they did not trust in His finished work. It was because of sin that Jesus told them to depart from Him. You said before that we cannot lose salvation over one sin. But this is what Jesus taught in Matthew 5:28-30, and many other verses. Jesus said if anyone looks upon a woman in lust, their whole body can be cast into hell fire. In Matthew 6:15, Jesus says if you do not forgive, you will not be forgiven. So I fail to see how we can sin on occasion and still be saved. Jesus did not say, "Oh, it is okay to look at women in lust as long as you do it on occasion" or "Hey, it's alright you do not forgive sometimes, the Father will still forgive you." Jesus never says anything like that. On the contrary, Jesus says to two people to: "Sin no more." (See: John 5:14, and John 8:11).

You don't diffrentiate this crucial difference. See someone who is addicted to inappropriate contentography, or looking at women at church or on twitter or instagram, they are still saved. As long as this happens, as long as when they know they are sinning, they are ashamed of it, and ultimately this shame causes a repentance. Even if short term. Those who are addicted to sin, will try to repent over and over again. And they are saved for sure, as our salvation is not based on merit. But on Christs merit. But if they were proud of their sin, and desired not to be convicted of their sin anymore, as in a homosexual going to a gay pride parade, and living with his boyfriend in sexual sin. They are no longer ashamed of it. So at that point the sin can cause some damage to salvation and faith. See if you no longer wish to be convicted of sin, you start to get bitter towards all those telling you it is sin. Christians and even Jesus, and the Bible. You start to remove those influences that tell you that this sin is unacceptable, and eventually this can cause doubt in the validity of the Bible and you lose faith in Jesus, possibly not even believing in His sacrifice on the cross again. But to the person that is ashamed of thier addiction, they have grace. And they have eternal security because they want to have it.

The Bible’s teaches that grievous sin is separation from GOD,

"But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear." (Isaiah 59:2).

"Now we know that God hears not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and does his will, him he hears." (John 9:31).

[God said to Adam,]
"But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." (Genesis 2:17).

[Eve said to the serpent,]
"But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. (Genesis 3:3).

And the serpent said unto the woman,
"Ye shall not surely die." (Genesis 3:4).

Important Note: If you were to look at 1 Thessalonians 4:3 you would learn that the will of God (i.e. the Father) is to be holy or it is our sanctification; And Hebrews 12:14 says, without holiness no man shall see the Lord.

The context says:

You have to labor for the meat the endures to everlasting life.

What is the meat that Jesus is talking about?

"Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work." (John 4:34).

Jesus says:
"And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?" (Luke 6:46).

"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven." (Matthew 7:21).

But you are saved by obeying the Law. God's grace is a part of God's commands. For 1 John 3:23 says that believing in Jesus is a commandment. Acts of the Apostles 17:30 says that repentance is a commandment. Can you be saved without believing in Jesus and without repentance? Jesus said repent or perish (Luke 13:3) (Note: I believe "repentance" means to seek forgiveness with the Lord Jesus Christ, and "forsaking sin and or living holy" is the fruits of repentance.).

So obviously Paul is not talking about all forms of God's commands or laws when he says you are not saved by works or the Law. Paul was referring to the "Works Alone Salvationism" that did not include God's grace as the entrance gate for our salvation, and the ultimate way of salvation. But after we are saved by God's grace through faith in Christ, Sanctification is required as a part of God choosing us to salvation. It says so right in the Bible.

"...God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth" (2 Thessalonians 2:13).

God has chosen us to salvation through two things:

#1. Belief of the Truth (Jesus is the Truth - John 14:6).
#2. Sanctification of the Holy Spirit (Living holy - See 1 Thessalonians 4:3, Romans 8:13, Galatians 5:16).​

In fact, Paul says that if you live one way (i.e. if you live in sin), you are going to die, but if you live another way (i.e. if you put to death sin in your life) via the Holy Spirit, you will live (i.e. live eternally) (See: Romans 8:13, and also compare it with Romans 8:1 in the King James). Paul says you can deny God by a lack of works (Titus 1:16). This means works are necessity to knowing the Lord, and in knowing Him, we have eternal life (See: 1 John 5:12).
1 john 3:23 is saying the only commandment to be followed to be saved is to believe. I think you are missing the point.

So if You look and.lust at women on the internet, maybe even look at inappropriate content are you yourself saved at all? 80% of christian males are addicted to it. But when you are saved by grace you have a higher victory rate over sins like the above, grace allows us to be better than law ever could.

“This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”

Great proof text for salvation being of the Lord, and not man.
And that verse affirms the work of God is what saves you. In fact the verse affirms Calvinism, if you know the works of God can not be resisted.
No one has resisted His will, ultimately.

Romans 9
19 You will say to me then, “Why does He still find fault? For who has resisted His will?
20 But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed say to him who formed it, “Why have you made me like this?”
21 Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dishonor?
Unfortunately most texts, as the other poster will no doubt post for you are not Calvinistic at all. Because calvinism is a dogma that is nit really too scriptural, neither is arminianism for that matter.

The context says:

"Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed." (John 6:27).

You have to labor for the meat the endures to everlasting life.

What is the meat that Jesus is talking about?

"Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work." (John 4:34).

Jesus says:
"And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?" (Luke 6:46).

"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven." (Matthew 7:21).
You are talking about meat which endures to everlasting life. The meat in John four Jesus bears. The meat that we are required to bear in John 6 is belief. They are different meats, one is Jesus cup, in which he asks the disciples if they are worthy to bear his cup. The other meat is the responsibility or work of the believer in salvation, and that is simply to believe in Jesus work John 6.

all false religions use fear as a motivation for heaven, the Gospel uses love as a motivation for heaven.

No, it is not. There are approximately 450 direct commands in the New Testament to my count so far. I am still working on the list. Loving God and loving your neighbor are still commands in the New Covenant. This would be loving God and loving your neighbor not in your own way, but according to the doctrine of Christ or the New Testament Scriptures. Try doing a search at BlueLetterBible for the keywords "commandment," "commandments," "command", etc., and you will see.

To give you a taste of what the Word of God says on this matter. It is written,

"Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing,
but the keeping of the commandments of God." (1 Corinthians 7:19).​

So what matters is the keeping of the commandments of God (according to Paul).

Paul says that what he has written should be regarded as the commandments of the Lord:

"If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord." (1 Corinthians 14:37).​

When was the last time you read Paul as if they were commandments?

So if You look and.lust at women on the internet, maybe even look at inappropriate content are you yourself saved at all? 80% of christian males are addicted to it. But when you are saved by grace you have a higher victory rate over sins like the above, grace allows us to be better than law ever could.

I know this is what you have been taught, but Jesus essentially says if one looks upon a woman in lust, their whole body can be cast into hell fire. Please read Matthew 5:28-30 several times a day in prayer to the Lord, my friend.

No. The context of the meat in John 6:27 that Jesus was talking about was to do the will of the Father and to finish His work in John chapter 4.

"Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work."
(John 4:34).

Meaning to obey the Father and go to the cross. This means "meat" is obedience. This makes sense because Hebrews 5:14 says,

"But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil"

Unfortunately most texts, as the other poster will no doubt post for you are not Calvinistic at all. Because calvinism is a dogma that is nit really too scriptural, neither is arminianism for that matter.
Every scripture supports the truth that when God chooses us in the NT, He does so efficaciously.

You will find no scriptural support for this idea of us choosing to believe first before He chose us to be His.

Not all are called to be saints. Only those who have believed the message were called. The rest were sons of disobedience. They could not believe in Christ because God had not allowed them to believe, they were not granted to know Christ and so then they could not come to Christ in faith of Him being the Son of God, read John 6 as per my signature at the end of the post..

11 But Christ came as High Priest of the good things [c]to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. 12 Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. 13 For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, [d]sanctifies for the [e]purifying of the flesh, 14 how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without [f]spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? 15 And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.

For those who are born of God, it is said of them they overcome the world by their faith. They do not draw back from following Christ into perdition, they believe unto the saving of the soul.

Any consideration of sin separating you from God in Christ if you are a new creation in Christ is fake news, it can not indeed will never happen, you will be saved because you are born of God and you will not lost, as Christ even so says in John 10. In fact anyone who teaches that is deceived, Christ says those who hear Him, follow Him and He gives them eternal life and they will never perish. Christ plainly tells us that there are some who do not believe in Him and He knows His own and His own know Him.

Jesus in v29 says His believers were given to Him by God, and that would have happened before the foundation of this world as Ephesians 1 clearly teaches.

23 And Jesus walked in the temple, in Solomon’s porch. 24 Then the Jews surrounded Him and said to Him, “How long do You keep us in doubt? If You are the Christ, tell us plainly.”

25 Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in My Father’s name, they bear witness of Me. 26 But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, as I said to you. 27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.
29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand.
30 I and My Father are one.”

is it a shock to you that God sums up the fruit of the spirit, as love, and then He says that love is the summation of the commandments. That means the natural byproduct of a christian life, fulfills the entire law. It's the love of God through us. Because God is love. It's not our love for others. But nowhere it is said that we must obey the commandments to be saved. That was written for those who don't believe. Those passages are for those not under grace. See there are actually two gospels, to live a perfect life and follow all the commandments as the beatitudes suggest, or to be saved by grace. To be saved by the commandment is death romans says. So we must be saved by grace. And I have mentioned numerous times, that if we were saved by works as james says, then none of us would be saved. 80 percent of christian males, and about 40 percent of pastors are addicted to inappropriate contentography. That is a high percentage. When was the last time you looked at a woman too long on social media? No one is perfect. All the above are addictive sins in the life of the average christian male. I personally have been free from all the above for a long long time, but it's been through grace and accountablity. When I fall I email my friends to tell them. They check up on me, and I check up on them. But I doubt you have any of that, because your motive is not to truly follow God's law, it's to put God's law on others. Which is wrong. You should first follow the law perfectly before telling other people to follow it. And you can't. So by your own admission the salvation you preach is worthless. Grace is all that matters.
