God reveals the end times

Isaiah 41:22 Let them bring them, and tell us what is to happen. Tell us the former things, what they are, so that we may consider them, and that we may know their outcome;or declare to us the things to come.

23 Tell us what is to come hereafter,that we may know that you are gods; do good, or do harm, that we may be afraid and terrified.

God designed Bible prophecy to be a beacon
of understanding in a dark, confused world.

Only God can interpret His prophecies.

The prophets are part of the foundation
of God’s Church.“And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets,Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone” (Eph. 2:20).

Paul taught the Ephesians that they were to pay close attention to theteachings of Jesus Christ, His apostles, and the prophets!

God’s Holy Spirit, the spirit of truth, would
show us “things to come.”

But disaster will come to you, suddenly and unforeseen and you will be unable to conjure it away. So much for your wise people, those who foretell prosperity and safety, they will become as stubble when the fire burns them up. It will not be like a fire to get warm by, but a devastating flame that they cannot escape from.

Also, what happened to Israel in the past, is symbolic of what will happen in the future.

‘In Zion, Israel will receive deliverance’, The Lord’s people, those who love Him and follow His laws, will live in the holy Land. Psalm 15:1-5, Isaiah 62:1-5 But first the Land must be cleared and cleansed, as the unrighteous cannot remain there. Ezekiel 20:46-48, Jer. 31:1-6


‘daughter of Babylon – lord over the nations’, In these end times, this may refer to the USA, the worlds richest and most powerful nation. Isaiah 18:1-7, Jeremiah 50:22-25, Jeremiah 51:6-10, Zechariah 2:6-7


‘I shall take vengeance and show clemency to none’, The whole world will be judged and those who refuse to acknowledge the Lord will be punished. Hebrews 10:26-27, Deuteronomy 32:39-42, 1 Peter 4:17


‘a sudden and unforeseen disaster of a devastating fire’, A coronal mass ejection of unprecedented magnitude will strike the earth, literally fulfilling all the many prophecies about it. Isaiah 30:26, Malachi 4:1, Jeremiah 4:23-26

70AD...

And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision.

Andat the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and theking of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.

I think it might mean, as we approach the end the Spirit reveals more of the hidden past.

I'm thinking at the beginning of human history the Spirit reveals the future and at the end of history He reveals the past.

Based on the scripture found above, our home is not on this rotten, sin cursed world.
Paul said it is now "above".
Christ confirms this fact below in the Book of Revelation.

Rev_3:12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.


Rev_21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.


Rev_21:10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

You don't think Revelation 19 involves the 2nd coming? The reason I ask, I don't see of a hint of fire anywhere once Jesus is seen leaving heaven. But it does mention a lake of fire. That only involves the beast and false prophet at the time though.

If you saw smoke coming out of your house would you consider it a "hint of fire"?

Have you ever heard the expression...

"Where there is smoke, there is fire."

Rev 19:1 And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God:
Rev 19:2 For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great harlot, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.

Rev 19:12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. (Is this a hint of fire?)

Also remember that the Book of Revelation is not in chronological order. The Second Coming is also found below in chapter 16.

How do you ignore what Paul said in 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10?
Do you think Paul made a mistake when he described Christ returning "in flaming fire"?

It is obvious to anyone, except you, that this passage is not about the Return of Jesus for His Millennium reign. Paul goes on in 2 Thess chapter 2, to prophecy further events before the Return.
It plainly refers to the terrible Day of the Lord's fiery wrath, that WILL be His vengeance onto His enemies, killing millions worldwide. Isaiah 24:6, Psalms 63:1-3, Isaiah 66:15-17
The Sixth Seal event, that will commence all the rest of what must happen before Jesus Returns.

The three proof passages that inform us about the glorious Return do not mention fire. Revelation 19:11-21, Matthew 24:329-30, Zechariah 14:3-6
