I was deeply saddened by this. I used to practice my Latin by downloading the Nuntii Latini programme.
Just a further sign of the decline of Western Civilisation, that we translate Hamlet into Klingon, while the traditional classical language increasingly withers; and with it, more and more we lose a part of ourselves, of our history.

Yep, i admit I am no good at languages, I attempted to learn a bit of Latin when I studied for my first degree in Arcaeology, but sadly lt did not stick. I just saw the news and could not help but think ‘Bother, where will I get my news from now’(which I google translated for thread title)

I'd respond to this post, but it isn't written in Babylonian and thus is obviously a sign of our decline from the roots of traditional civilization.
It also isn't written in cursive, so same problem.
