But Democrats claim to care about the migrants who are entering the country in record numbers.

So, what explains the complete lack of action by the Democratic majority in the House of Representatives on a reasonable $4.5 billion request for humanitarian aid that the Trump administration made many months ago?

Nancy Pelosi prefers border chaos

The thing is... they are allowing these children in because of their refusal to pass immigration reform, allowing them to be in danger, luring them into this situation... all for the sole purpose of trying to make Trump look bad.
Great people here. Using these children as pawns in their irrational hatred over who won the last election.

House Democrats release $4.5B border aid package

House spending leaders released a $4.5 billion emergency funding measure Friday to fulfill some of President Donald Trump’s request for additional aid to handle the influx of immigrants at the U.S.-Mexico border.

The 27-page bill differs from the version the Senate approved in committee this week by including extra oversight demands and giving hundreds of millions of dollars less to Immigration and Customs Enforcement. But Democratic spending leaders contend the broad elements of the bills are similar, improving prospects for a bipartisan compromise before the Department of Homeland Security and Health and Human Services completely deplete resources in the coming weeks.....

Within a summary and fact sheet comparing the House and Senate versions, House spending leaders highlighted the fact that the House bill also contains an additional $30 million that lawmakers who represent communities near the U.S.-Mexico border requested to reimburse local governments and groups that provide humanitarian support for incoming immigrants.

The Senate bill approved a few days ago for the same amount was bipartisan.
They need to compromise between the two bills and get them passed.

So your title is a lie.

So they have a fire of their own making just so they can throw water on it and make themselves look good... without ever putting the fire out?

Do Republicans ever actually take responsibility for their own actions?

Border spending bill sent to Senate floor, but House may act on its version first

Source is a news article from WEDNESDAY. The funds were released on FRIDAY.
It was posted today.

The Senate appropriators approve their funds on Wednesday and it was bipartisan.
The title is a lie.

from Wednesday:
Border spending bill sent to Senate floor, but House may act on its version first
Senate appropriators approved $4.59 billion in emergency funding Wednesday to address the influx of migrants at the southern border, and their House counterparts said they’re prepping a similar bill to bring to the floor as soon as Tuesday.

The measure appropriators sent to the Senate floor provides slightly less than President Donald Trump’s administration had requested, but leaders of both parties said it did not include “poison pills” that could block passage.

Both chambers also appeared set to try to get a bill to Trump’s desk before the July Fourth recess, but House appropriators were planning to move a measure that differed from the Senate one.

So the title is a lie

Not a republican... it is just that the dem candidates are so bad that it would be like drinking poison to vote for one of them.
As far as taking responsibility?
It is called pinching the baby. Dems pinch the baby, get it crying, and then blame the republicans when they try to deal with the situation.... while doing nothing themselves except looking for more babies to pinch.

The title is not a lie, it’s from a date that predates the decision

I didn't call you a liar. I said the title is a lie. It was a lie on Wednesday too. Simply because the House had not hammered through details to release funds for a bill yet does not make them uncaring. Both parties would have been guilty on Tuesday by that reasoning.

I cannot close the thread since I posted in it. Will ask another staffer to do it.

Republicans lock up children in cages in freezing conditions without basic facilities. They then claim it’s the Democrats fault for not fixing a situation they themselves created. Seems to me like a pretty worthless refusal to accept responsibility for their own actions.

The democrats in CA care so much. That California to provide full health benefits to illegal immigrants under age 26. California to Provide Full Health Benefits to Illegal Immigrants under Age 26

Notvin the day it was written

Not on the day it was written

Not in the day it was written

Does repeating it help?

Yeah, it is. I will will soften it to say untrue.

It takes more than a day to to write the bills up in legalese, and detail the funding.
Both parties needed to address the situation of the conditions of the migrants sooner. Claiming the party you hate is refusing to help is flat out disingenuous.
