British judge orders disabled 22-week pregnant woman to have abortion

"The woman’s mother, a former midwife, opposes the abortion procedure and told the court that she could take care of the child with the support from the daughter, Sky News reported.

A social worker who works with the woman also said the pregnancy should not be terminated.

But the judge said the woman didn’t have the mental capacity to make her own decisions even it look like she wanted to continue the pregnancy.

“I think she would like to have a baby in the same way she would like to have a nice doll.”

— Justice Nathalie Lieven"

That can't be legal.

Unfortunately, it is. Remember, this is the court system that not only decreed that an infant could not receive medical treatment but that his parents could not take him outside the country so that he could receive that treatment in Italy or the United States.

Completely saddening.

Even with the all the support structure the judge thought she knew best.
That judge may get a rude shock in the Judgment when confronted by the aborted child asking her, "Why didn't you give me a chance at life?", and that question may dog her for the rest of eternity while she is in outer darkness where people will wail and gnash their teeth.

Why would they do that? They skipped all the suffering, avoided the risk of damnation and go right to a blissful after life. What’s there for them to be upset over?

The child will be giving evidence before God against the judge. That is the real point.

The child will be giving evidence before God against the judge.

Giving evidence to an all knowing deity and being the accuser of the person whose order sent them to paradise...

It seems the British courts saw the illegality of a forced abortion when support structures were in place. This decision has been reversed.

For now. Occasionally they realize that they out kick their coverage. Like the sand people, they will be back and in greater numbers.

... And the "I've never watched Star Wars or a football game award goes to...."

Seriously, if your first reaction was to cry "racism" in response to a clear reference to the fictional Tuskan Raiders on the equally fictional planet of Tatooine perhaps you need to rethink a lot of things.
