In concentration camps they confiscated glasses, shoes, hair and teeth.

In border detention centers they don’t.

In concentration camps they threw infants up in the air to see how many times they could shoot the before hitting the ground

In border detention they are given baths

In concentration camps they were stripped naked and gassed them cremated

In border detention they are given a cot and blankets

In concentration camps they were driven from their homes, loaded onto trains, shot and starved.

In border detention, they paid drug runners their life saving to come.

In concentration camps those that survived lived on around 300 calories a day diet

In border detention they are given three meals a day

In concentration camps they were used for medical experiments

In border detention they are treated for illnesses they have.

Do you understand what a concentration camp actually is, by definition? (a place where large numbers of people - such as prisoners of war, political prisoners, refugees, or the members of an ethnic or religious minority - are detained or confined under armed guard). All the flapping about has come from folks who failed to comprehend what a concentration camp actually is & on account of that ignorance think that AOC was saying Trump was running a Nazi concentration camp. That's not what she said. I think maybe if folks would educate themselves on what a concentration camp is, get the facts on what Trump's administration has done, they'd understand that she's correct.

There's currently at least 2 threads right here on this forum explaining the dehumanizing treatment of the refugee children, of the conditions they're in. Yes, they're in concentration camps.

I'm not a Trump hater. What I am is a Christian & an American who actually loves my country, so that's why I'm opposed to unChristian, un-American actions.

She's correct. She wasn't being hyperbolic. What was hyperbolic was the reaction to her correctly calling them concentration camps by people who are ignorant of what a concentration camp actually is and / or distorted what she actually said.

Next thing I'm waiting to hear is the camps at the southern border are a holocaust in the making and that they may be worse than the Nazi's camps :doh:
