As was noted, that's Florida. A state he won in 2016. Let's see what kind of reception Trump will get in California. Or Illinois, or Massachusetts. And BTW, why would he even start his campaign in a friendly state? I'd suspect that he's actually worried that the FL voters may not be so friendly next year.

Where he really needs to campaign is in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin. And particularly in the populous suburbs of Philadelphia, Pittsburg, Detroit, and Milwaukee. How popular he is in these places is far more meaningful. If he loses them, he loses the states. And the election.

The State of Florida has 7 times the population of Iowa.

Plus, a Republican in central Florida is going to be a million times more popular than a Democrat in Iowa.
Better go look at the numbers again in CF then compare to the south of FL.

Trump recognizes something the hard core right does not: FL is not secure for the Red.

Oh there's no doubt Florida is quickly turning blue. I'm just saying there's going to be a lot more people to pull from a much more populous city, surrounding area and state like Florida than the entirety of the state of Iowa so to compare crowd sizes between these two separate regions isn't exactly apples to apples.

So instead of going with empirically backed methodology we are switching to completely irrelevant numbers that paint the preferred picture? I don't know if this is a good sign or a bad sign but it certainly seems in keeping with Trumps way of making decisions.

I guess that must be because all of us lefties are at work.

Also, we don't worship our politicians nearly as much as TrumpFans do.
True but the Right was convinced that the Left worshiped the ground that Obama walked upon.

Which I laugh at. I'd wager about 10-20% remained as fervent supporters. Most obama pushers I knew were okay with him at midterms but really quite meh with him at the end of it all.

THAT, to me, is the sign of a healthy democracy.

Trump's "woe is me everyone picks on me but I am so great" attitude is getting so tiring to me (as a teacher of Behaviour and Learning Assistance junior high kids)

Let’s see

Dubuque is .23 the size of Orlando

And the voter turnout, if the same proportionately would have been:

20,000 by .23 = 4,600

And Biden drew 250

Does that help put it into proportion.

Here come the math geniuses....
Ooo....we're getting pedantic. Cool.

Okay. So there are 20 democratic candidates.

4600 / 20 candidates =
230

So it looks like Biden did better than Trump.

BIDEN! BIDEN! BIDEN!

You are welcome to continue replying through this inanity but frankly, I find this argument specious at best and a waste of my time at worst. There are numerous other stronger arguments against caring about this

Trump has lied many times about his crowds, and remember that Beto was a bigger draw when he visited El Paso.

My friends went to a Trump rally for opposition research once. They were creeped out by the rabble rousing to the crowd, many of whom had guns.

They'd do better with Joel Osteen. Prayer and positive thinking will help them get rich quicker than Trump's fraudulent promises.

Though history now looks kindly on President Lincoln, he was hated SO severely by the south who promised to leave the union if Lincoln was voted in. Slavery divided the nation and hate was strong just as abortion divides us today.

It may surprise many that the election is really not so much about Trump as it is about those who are concerned our nation is and will continue to suffer greatly due to the legalized sin and celebration of abortion. Many, like myself, have felt the blessings of God leaving America since the 70's when abortion was legalized. We are almost a godless society. Trump is actually a lifelong democrat. I myself did not trust Trump that he would not revert to his old ways and I certainly wanted Ted Cruz to win the nomination. But, Trump has actually kept his promise to appoint pro-life justices, to move the US embassy to Jerusalem (Clinton, Bush and Obama ALL promised that on tape and did not have the guts to do it). Bottom line is there is no way that I could ever be ok with any leader who thought that they could legally kill what God has purposefully knit into the mother's womb.

So when we are wondering how half of the country been ok with or didn't care whether people had the choice of owning another human being. Here we are again. Treating a life given by God as a choice being treated like property to either destroy or not. I can only pray that in this near future, people will start making life a priority, because the Lord does make it clear that murder of the innocent is a very serious sin that He will not ignore. Whatever you do for the "least of these" you do to Christ. There is no life more vulnerable than the unborn.

Are they okay? Did they survive the horror?

I’m an unapologetic Trump supporter, but the rallies aren’t my thing. He seems to have fun with them, though.

Your post has a strong aroma of wishful thinking. This current SCOTUS has so far ruled on only one abortion case. They upheld an Indiana law requiring post-abortive fetal remains to be either cremated or buried. (This is hardly a milestone. Cremation, or incineration, is already the standard procedure for the disposition of post-abortion fetal tissue.) But--by a 7-2 margin--they rejected that part of the law which prohibited abortion because of the sex, race, or possible disability of the fetus. Realistically, it will take at least a year, and likely longer, for any of the recently passed highly restrictive abortion laws to make it through the lower courts. Where they will surely be overturned. There is no guarantee that SCOTUS will even agree to review the lower courts' ruling. It would be prudent to remember the old saying: don't count your chickens before they hatch.

It is in line with him firing polling firms in response to internal polls which show him way behind potential challengers in 2020.
