Actually, trying on my iPhone, using the default Apple on-screen keyboard, and it didn't try to auto-correct to "Whales," I had to start typing "Whales" for it to be wrong.

Ive had my spelling laughed at by liberal posters too. Unfortunately we cant all be perfect like liberals, and sit around laughing at others.

Point of information 1: a comparable witticism directed at me would have evoked a reluctant, but sincere smile, not an accusation of flaming. But then I take myself no more seriously than is merited, something that seems absent in the demeanour of President Trump.

Point of information 2: Despite many questionable actions the USA has many international friends. It is regrettable that you seem not to recognise how the behaviour of President Trump is straining the ability of those friends to retain a positive view of the USA.

My iphone did not correct "wales" to "Whales". And it gave me a cute whale emoji for "Prince of Whales". So, no, not an auto-correction probably.

I always check for the red underlines indicating misspellings, but my grammar has to fend for itself.
