Again. The point that I was making is that the terms "racist" and "islamophobia" have been tossed around so loosely that it doesn't seem to mean anything anymore. The way it has been used as a blanket attack of conservative thought is one such example of why I believe this is true.Fascinating! The first person to bring up Conservatives was YOU. No other person had said or mentioned anything about Conservatives, yet for some reason you thought the subject was about Conservatives.
Again. It proves my point that people don't even know what these words mean anymore.i agree

Again, the question is what exactly is the criteria needs to be met to be considered an "extremist" Facebook group? Is it because they have the audacity of saying "white lives matter" because so many white cops have been targeted as a result of the BLM movement? Is it because they do not support sharia law and are afraid that "No Go Zones" in places like Dearborn, MI may become more common? Is it because they refuse to swallow what the liberal media is trying to propagate? Or is it because they actually hate minorities for no other reason than because of their skin color? I don't know, and that is the problem. Why? Again, it is because these terms have been loosely tossed around it is difficult to differentiate between actual cases of extremism and mere attacks on diversity of thought. If someone is accused of being a racists, I have no choice but to demand proof before I accept it as true.Yeah, I've been hearing that from racists and Islamophobes for quite some time now. You're equating cops who join extremist Facebook groups with Conservatives?
I just wanted to add that this isn't "Islamophobia." It is just simple racism and bigotry against white people. If I were to have reworded this as "It's walking down the street and worrying if that crowd of black guys on the corner is going to be a problem", what would you call it? BTW...I am Hispanic and resemble a muslim but I have never once "felt threatened" in the way you have described.really? I’ll you tell what islamophobia is like if you’re NOT Muslim. It’s worrying that someone is going to harm a friend, coworker , acquaintance, neighbor, or family member just because they look sorta middle eastern . It’s worrying that you’ll be targeted because you’re a light skinned black person or Hispanic without African features and you wear a long conservative dress in the wintertime. It’s walking down the street and worrying if that crowd of white guys on the corner is gonna be a problem. I’m not Muslim but being targeted that way is terrifying! I see Conservatives encourage this sick behavior and I’m going to stay proudly liberal just over that ( and other stuff)
And even if you don't see them???I should hope not. I always call out non sequiturs when I see them.
I googled white lives matter. I cant post the link i found, it contains racist remarks.Again, the question is what exactly is the criteria needs to be met to be considered an "extremist" Facebook group? If they are so bad that you cannot post them here, then I condemn them. If the comments do meet the criteria of racism, I proudly condemn them. I will just have to take your word on it because I cannot see for myself on my network.I googled white lives matter. I cant post the link i found, it contains racist remarks.

Someone was supposedly quoting the supposed co founder of the white lives matter movement Rebecca Barnette, and the quotes were hate filled. If they are so bad that you cannot post them here, then I condemn them. If the comments do meet the criteria of racism, I proudly condemn them.
Again, you are missing the point. The problem is that these accusations have been so loosely used that they don't really mean anything anymore. There are people on this very thread who claim that people are afraid of white people for no other reason than because of their skin color. Do you condemn the notion that people may be afraid or feel threatened by you because you are white? The only reason for this racism and bigotry against white people because of the fearmongering propagated and reinforced by the loose accusations made against white people for no other reason than having a different point of view. You're inventing "poor oppressed white people" scenarios in your head. How about looking at the reported study and then checking out the content of the groups yourself? It's one thing to be skeptical. It's another to play the Conservative are victims card without evidence.
Stop addressing me if you don't want an answer. Are you going to keep talking about me instead of the content of the posts to this thread?
I am not familiar with Rebecca Barnette. I will have to look her up. Perhaps I am wrong but I was under the impression that "White Lives Matter" was synonymous with "Blue Lives Matter" in that they were against the targeting and murder of white cops. But if it is more about white supremacy as opposed to supporting law enforcement, I would have to condemn it.Someone was supposedly quoting the supposed co founder of the white lives matter movement Rebecca Barnette, and the quotes were hate filled.
Perhaps you are correct, i dont know. I should have done more research. I couldnt find much in google.I am not familiar with Rebecca Barnette. I will have to look her up. Don't worry. I edited the post because I googled Rebecca Barnette and did not like what I saw. She is clearly a white supremacist.Perhaps you are correct, i dont know. I should have done more research. I couldnt find much in google.
I was not aware the choice was accept racist police or no policing. Kind of figured the solution is to ensure that racist police officers are fired or not hired, which will help to serve all in the community. Given the documented racism by police officers in this article, why are you ignoring them and blaming African Americans for something they're not related to (i.e., the racist social media posts of some people in law enforcement)?Would predominantly Black neighborhoods be better, safer places if no White police ever showed up in response to anything? Would the folks in these neighborhoods ultimately be happier to have no White cops show up at all, rather than have a White cop show up who might use arguably excessive force, pull a trigger and injure or kill someone, make a wrong judgement call, or reach for his weapon?
This is a serious question. Or is the solution to have African-American men policing their own neighborhoods? Get young, bright, capable, physically fit, discerning young people from that neighborhood police it, instead of White guys from outside the community?
Is it because they do not support sharia law and are afraid that "No Go Zones" in places like Dearborn, MI may become more common?
