Aggressively serene!
I understand that it's fun to claim the police shot him while sleeping. People can watch the video of the shooting though....in slow motion....on YouTube.
He pretty clearly starts scratching his shoulder....then the cops issue commands....and he leans forward with his hand in his lap.
I'll admit that he could have been half asleep still....but he also could've been reaching for his gun.

Why couldn't they knock on the window, run away, and then track him down later when it was convenient for him to be arrested?
I can't count how many times I have been passed out in the parking lot of a Taco Bell with a gun in my lap. That's just summer fun.

He would be unable to do much of anything other than twitch.
Only if his finger was on the trigger and the taser caused it to contract in which case it would be an uncontrolled discharge rather then a shot at anything or one.

It’s not all that uncommon among people I work with. On long road trips if they pull over to sleep the leave their pistols in clear sight.

I watched the video.
Disturbing on many levels.
Several officers yelling "show your hands" after they've unloaded multiple rounds into him, he's "unresponsive". The surprise; why no one thought of rapping on the window and yelling "show your hands" before filling him full of bullets.

The entire incident could have been avoided had instant deadly force not been the cops go to move. If the sight of a gun triggers that kind of response they are not fit for their jobs with how awash in firearms this country is.
