you again just asserted something that you can not prove. You have yet to prove that an unborn child is a person
I do not need to prove to you anything, we are just exchanging ideas. We are not in a court.

You still haven't told me why you believe an unborn child isn't a person or when they suddenly become one
Because personality develops by our experience.

I do not know when exactly one is a full person, its like asking "when exactly are sand nuggets becoming a lump". Its an accumulative process.

I have pointed out that the Bible, while not giving explicit answers, gives a clear implication that babies and children go to Heaven. The words of Jesus point to that. Taking every example of children dying into account, this is the implication given.

I have had enough of this. Good bye

The thread is not about children, but about an aborted fetus. Bye.

This is a difficult question as it can be argued either way from Scriptures. On one hand, God does not wish that any should perish. On the other hand, it's clear from Scripture that God does judge the nations, which certainly does include children. Consider the Deluge and Soddom etc.

What I don't think we can say is that children are saved by virtue of their purity, but that in all things, whatever God judges is good, so it's not something we need to be concerned about. God is righteous and merciful and His decrees are always good.

I honestly do not know what happens to aborted children.

Instead, I place my confidence that God is righteous and good. I can trust Abba, Father to do what is right.

So, instead of giving people confidence that such children are in heaven, I tell them to trust that God will do what is best for these children.

Would eternal damnation be best for a child?

Jeremiah 1:5 "Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations."

It seems that God knows a person even before that person is to come into the world ( obvious ).

Or, God knows that a fetus will never be a person...

That's what all the pro abortion people say, a fetus is not a person untill that fetus reaches a certain state, so they go and create laws in order to lower people's conscience.

My own mother did it several times, I am sure, in my country, mortality is higher than natality and the abortion is sky high.

Never ever lower your conscience, that's how evil takes control over you.

Ok, is a cell a person?

In which phase the fetus becomes a person and knows what is going on, knows about himself etc.

Once the creation of a new life starts, that is a new life, it does not matter in what state or stage it is.

Don't lower your conscience...

Even plants, cells or bacterias are life. Not sure what you want to say.

Do not put biological life (flesh) higher than it is.

I am walking by faith, not by sight. If God confirms eternal damnation is best, I will not contradict him.

I would prefer there was no Satan, sin, suffering or eternal damnation at all, but I trust God's will is better than mine.

I don't believe that children that die before they make a profession of faith in Christ go to heaven

This really depends on when you believe a person becomes a person, when they receive their soul so to speak. Most Christians believe this occurs at conception. Though it is possible that God sends or conceives a persons soul before that or after that and we cannot be sure when this moment occurs. From a perspective of legislation conception is a safer assumption to avoid murder than any other. But If a baby has no soul then it is a blob of flesh and bones not properly knitted together yet and it simply ceases to exist at abortion. If it has a soul then it has all the attributes of a fully conscious adult in an unconscious format. God is just and is not going to send an innocent to hell but he can assess the state of a person even before they are able to make conscious choices. It seems more likely that most babies will simply be saved by his grace but it is not obvious or written that all will. So it is perfectly possible that some will go to heaven, some simply cease to exist and some go to hell.
