Well that has no truth in it. Did you not know the power of the Gospel *1 PETER 1:5; GALATIANS 5:16; ROMANS 3:31;ROMANS 1:16; ROMANS 15:13; 1 CORINTHIANS 1:18; 1 CORINTHIANS 2:5; 1 CORINTHIANS 4:20; 2 CORINTHIANS 13:4 is to save a sinner from their sins *JOHN 8:31-36 through faith alone in God's WORD *JOHN 3:16? OBEDIENCE to God's LAW is not how we are saved it is only the FRUIT of God's work in us as we BELIEVE and FOLLOW his WORD through love.
If our faith has no fruit it is dead *JAMES 2:18-20; 26 and our tree will be cast down and thrown into the fire *MATTHEW 3:10; 7:19-20; 13:49-50. We are saved by GRACE through faith and not of ourselves it is a gift of God *EPHESIANS 2:8.
According to God's WORD all those who CONTINUE in KNOWN UNREPENTANT SIN will not enter into the KINGDOM of HEAVEN *HEBREWS 10:26-27 because they reject the gift of God's dear son *ROMANS 6:23.
JESUS saved us from sin not to continue in it *JOHN 8:31-36. God's Word says those who continue in known unrepentant sin are lying if they say they know God *1 JOHN 2:2-4.
The Gospel is indeed good news for those who believe it. It is the power of God to save us from our sins.
God's Sheep hear His Voice (the Word)
You will find no solace in the Law, for the Law brings with it an increase in sin. You will only find condemnation by your pursuit in trying to be righteous by the Law. For there is there only dead bones and sin there. Instead, hear the Law preached truthfully, that you are a sinner in need of forgiveness. You are a sinner in need of God's mercy. You are a sinner for whom Christ the Son of God came, as it is written, "This is a trustworthy saying worthy of full acceptance, that Christ came to save sinners, and I am the chief of sinners."
As long as you are pursuing your flesh by seeking a righteousness by the Law you will never have peace with God, but will despise God in your heart. Instead, hear the blessed and holy Gospel: Jesus Christ died for you. Believe the good news. There is peace with God here in Him. This is for you, believe it.
