We create this 'trade war' with China because too much of our stuff is made there and our trade balance is 'bad'. Consumer prices go up because of tariffs. Corporations are struggling to rebuild their supply lines in the face of this conflict created by the government. Then this:

U.S. 'smart' bombs will be built in Saudi Arabia under Trump arms deal

pops up in the news. Our own GOVERNMENT is making agreements to off-shore our military production. And not just uniforms or something like that, but high tech guided bomb components.

If we need the jobs so badly that we start a trade war with China, wouldn't it make sense to keep our bomb making production here instead of providing jobs in Saudi Arabia?

Consumer prices go up because of tariffs.
That hasn't actually happened. Consumers have more buying power now than before Trump became president, and the rate is rising faster than at any point in the last 40 years.

Reciprocal tariffs are good. It's why manufacturing is returning to the States, and why we have a < 4% unemployment rate. These trends, btw began under Obama, who utilized more tariffs than any president since Nixon.

Corporations are struggling to rebuild their supply lines in the face of this conflict created by the government.
Won't someone please think of General Electric!

Who cares about the jobs, this sends sensitive technology to the homeland of weaponized islam.
I wasn't going to bring it up, BUT....

If memory serves me correctly, 13 of the 15 individuals involved in the 9-11 attack were Saudi nationals.

The House of Saud are long time friends and business associates of the Bush family and, apparently, of the Trumps. And now we are outsourcing our weapon production to them.

[Edit] Okay. Memory isn't all that good. According to this:

Hijackers in the September 11 attacks - Wikipedia

15 of the 19 attackers were Saudi citizens.

For any who don't recognize the term Whabbism:

This article will give one a better understanding just who it is we are entrusting our weapon technology to.
