Who Dares Say He Believes in God? - Dr. Peterson's Event

Yeah he obviously suffers from a lack of prioritization when speaking out his ideas perhaps. (I have the same problem due to ADHD) But he said some very good points about the purpose of life in that talk. I'm not a fan of prolonged lectures too honestly so it could have been better if they cut the talk into chunks maybe.

He was asked a lot about his belief in God previously but he struggled to answer clearly, which is something that is bothering him so he is trying to be more clear about his faith. Once he was asked whether Christ was raised from the dead literally or not and he answered "I don't know" after a lot of thinking. So i like his approach to God and the Bible, the way he observes morality and God's existence in a more analytic perspective.

The reason I shared his video is because I enjoy his mentality a lot. He has a very powerful amount of wisdom when it comes to human-to-human interaction, meaning of life, morality.. etc. Probably one of my most favourite intellectuals ever. He wrote a fascinating book called "12 rules for life" that contained some moral values that are hardly found anywhere but in the Bible.

In short, he is not closing his eyes to reality, and neither he is denying the existence of God. He knows that reality can be disturbing and get very ugly at times and he is convinced that the world will be better when everyone starts from themselves. That is, God is not to be blamed because God is that voice inside of us leading us to the truth and we are the actors.

Exactly, but he is really progressing so fast, especially that he has a powerful scientific background in psychology and its related disciplines. I think God is working something in him.

Hi, no not really, I just thought that this move from Dr. Peterson is new and unusual so I wanted to share it. I thought he was known on CF but it turns out that he is still not that famous.

He always hated the question about whether he believes that God exists or not as far as I understand and he simply couldn't give a straightforward answer to the question.

But it looks like in his recent talk that was released yesterday; He started changing his approach to the question. So I thought it was worth the share. (That something new/interesting is happening in his case)
