How are people born and raised into different religions supposed to know that Jesus is the only way to heaven? There is no way someone would know that on their own and if Jesus doesn't reveal it to them doesn't that mean that most people were not meant to go to heaven?

Here is a video of a former Muslim Imam who found Christ in the Quran.
Here are some scriptures which address this question.

Romans 4:15 Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.
Romans 5:13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
Psalms 19:1-4
(1) To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
(2) Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.
(3) There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
(4) Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,
Romans 1:18-20
(18) For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
(19) Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
(20) For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

We leave that judgement to God. We don't know what arrangements He's made for those who don't know Christ, either because they never even had a chance to know, or because events have made it almost impossible for them to believe in Him.

When Christ appeared, thousands of years of human history had passed, with millions already having died. Even when the Gospel spread to Europe, it remained confined to North Africa, the Middle East and Europe for centuries. The people of China, India (although there is a strong tradition that St. Thomas went to India), Central and North Asia, North and South American, Southern Africa, Australia and South East Asia had never head of Him.

In later centuries, the people who suffered under centuries of European colonisation had good reason to think of Christianity as their oppressor's religion, and so they were suspicious of it.

Was God going to write them all off because they never even had a chance, or the circumstances were hardly favourable? I don't think so.

The answer is "We don't know".

They are saved just like everyone else, by faith in Christ.

There are ways they can know. Just because we as individuals are not capable of telling them doesn't mean God lacks the means to tell them.

Perhaps most people today have head knowledge about Christianity. The name of Christ is certainly discussed and taught about in the Muslim world, so they are somewhat aware. Bible says all people everywhere are without excuse because of the witness of the natural world and God gives them over to their various sins.

18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.

The muslim religion condones and promotes rape and sexual slavery . And the person who started the religion was not someone I would want to know, what he did was well documented.
Is Sex Slavery Sanctioned in Islam?

According to Calvinism, most people will not be saved; only Christians are saved. And, according to some such as John MacArthur and R.C. Sproul, only those who believe in Calvinism are saved.

I have a theory (based on the Bible) that after we die, Christ will appear to everyone, much as he did when he descended into hades to preach to the captives before his resurrection. Christ will preach the gospel and reveal his person in its full glory, and each person will get to decide at that time based on clear and true knowledge. I base this on Romans, that God reveals himself to everyone. If a person hasn't heard the gospel preached correctly and encountered the Spirit of Christ in it, then they have an excuse. Only when hearing the gospel correctly and encountering Christ, and then rejecting him; only then are they without excuse.

Jesus will reveal himself to everyone and only after that can they be expected to make a good choice.

12 For all who have sinned without the law will also perish without the law, and all who have sinned under the law will be judged by the law. 13 For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law who will be justified. 14 For when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do what the law requires, they are a law to themselves, even though they do not have the law. 15 They show that the work of the law is written on their hearts, while their conscience also bears witness, and their conflicting thoughts accuse or even excuse them 16 on that day when, according to my gospel, God judges the secrets of men by Christ Jesus.

You're referring to the beginning of Romans. Of course in Romans the issue is Jews vs Gentiles, not Christians vs non-Christians. But a reasonable implication of Rom 2 would be that some non-Christians are saved by the kind of natural revelation you're referring to. Paul attributes saving faith to Abraham, who wasn't Christian.

I'm not convinced that the mentions of Jesus in Islam are sufficient for us to consider them properly evangelized, despite a few who manage to see Jesus there.

Well, I'm sure we'll all learn things we didn't understand.

But if Christ is really the Word made flesh, he was and is present to anyone who hears God, whether they are Christian or not.

A question that I ask myself many times also. This CS Lewis quote is very good I think:

“We do know that no person can be saved except through Christ. We do not know that only those who know Him can be saved by Him.”

Lewis was an inclusionist believing that God also saves people from other faiths. Most Calvinists think that only those elected by God are saved, which are also those who believe in Jesus. What's more, most reformed churches teach that Jesus only died for the elect's sin, not for the sin of the whole world.

I believe that people will be judged by what they know or could have known.

They know by looking at Christians. Christian nations are the most advanced and prosperous countries on Earth. When Jesus comes back he would have their full support. Louis CK put it best. Jews already know that "Christians won everything, even the year we count to".
