I certainly dont see lukewarmness. I see the reverse in many areas of the world. So many people in the world are turning to God these days. More and more!

Each is simply thinking, "Well, I am doing fine." I suspect they have never heard the scripture that says that each looked after his own house but no one looked after the house of the Lord.

Should not our hearts be burdened and even moreso if we are walking as close to God as we think?

Part of the message you bring rings true but the latter part which encourages ( even if you dont realize it) people to do nothing and wait for some mystical event some day that will carapult them into super Christians does not match with Any scripture any where.

Being free from the works of sin is made evident by the fact that they are replaced by the outworking of righteousness.
To suggest that promoting obedience is legalism is a huge tell.
The apostles made more disciples teaching them how to observe ( Do and obediently practice all that Jesus had commanded them to do and teach and practice)
So all they discipled went and Did all that the apostles did.It is the Entire point.

In contrast your telling people " do not Obey JESUS... Just sit tight and suddenly one mystical undefined day you'll become active.
This is diametrically opposed to what Jesus taught.

In essence your saying let millions perish in hell fire while we sit idle...waiting.. Waiting for What exactly?

Sorry but the call to the harvest is Now! and those who answer that call are chosen to it.
Scripture states that faith without action is dead.

The only nation bucking this trend thus far is Israel.

As far as the rest of your stuff. The world is NOT getting worse and worse and poverty is NOT growing but the opposite is happening. I could list it all myself but I'll just let this guy point out the rest of the stats.

i agree the gospel is spreading amazingly ...but not enough.
I dont agree that masses of those who claim faith are in the faith... Saying that the so many hundreds of millions that parade statues of a woman down city streets are in the faith is even close to truth.
To say the world is not getting worse based on a ted talk is not exactly valid info.nor does it agree with scripture.
To that i would say you may need to travel a bit.

..
In all his messages to the assemblies the lord never just says" this is good in you and this is bad" and then leaves them Hanging without remedy..
What leads to lukewarmness...? Loss of first love.. Whats the remedy the lord JESUS gives to loss of first love?... Go back and Do the first works ......

Never ever will obeying the lord Jesus resukt in being joyless... Im shocked you can ever think that.
It leads to more joy Not less.
You need to be reminded that it is " For the Joy set before us" that we obey him ..just as he obeyed the father for the joy set before him.

I hope that your info is correct and that the world is growing more in His image with every new believer. I would also like to see it in the "secular" which we believer's live in. The erosion in the "Christian" nations from the high moral standards that they use to have.. is heartbreaking.

This is just a shocking misinterpretation of scripture...
No where are we told to seek being deeply satisfied and then preach about our deep satisfaction... Thats introverted self seeking and the Oppisite of what Jesus showed us .
We are to Go and speak the Gospel of Jesus..the power of God to save from sin and free from the wrath of God coming upon the earth. The message is a clearly defined script in the bible..
And yes at times there is sorrows in the flesh
But always great joys in the Spirit.thats how Joy in the lord works.for God is spirit and those who worship him must do so in spirit and in truth
And the joys of a face lighting up when a person is Healed ..
The wonder of amazement when a person rises up after a devil through down and came out of them
The wonderment of seeing a person rise out if the waters of baptism and get filled with the Holy Spirit ...You cant ever know such Joys without Doing the gospel.
It will remain a far off concept in a frustrated overcome life...a life overcome by fear of man .
One must overcome the desires of the flesh which war against the the Spirit..in order to Go and obey the Lord.

To be honest iv never heard anyone refer to a persons who obeys Jesus as an overcome person ... Jesus calls them "overcomers"

Well I would also like to see Biblical principle make its way into the secular mind more also. The reason it is not though is Christians don't believe that is their job anymore. Jesus is coming back any time you know, and it will all get destroyed anyway. Western Christians have been robbed of a scriptural vision for the future by false prophecy in the guise of pop culture end time teachings. That is the thing I am at war with. Christians cannot naturally develop into individuals who can overcome secular thinking, the sins of our generation because they have accepted false teachings that make them insufficient for the job. God can barely work with them in this area either. He is stuck with having to destroy the false teaching first before he can replace it with the truth from his word. Something he has just started working on I think.
