I hate to crash your party here. I think both you guys need a re-assessment of what you think is happening in the world.
I'll start with this. A billion people came to Christ in the last 50 years. 100,000+ a day for the last decade.
This phenomena shows no signs of slowing down. more than 1/4 of the worlds population claim Christianity now. If a billion of them are real Christians that makes 1/7th of the worlds population Christians.
Please look up the stats on the net. The world is on a fast track to a depopulation crises. It takes 2.1 children per woman for the population to grow. China 1.5, Russia 1.2, Europe 1.4, India 2.1 and falling. Southern and Central America 2.1 and falling. Native USA 1.7, with legal and illegal migrant population 2.2. The trend in all the rest of the world is downward. Japan will go from 127 million to 100 million by 2050. Japans population shrank by 400,000 people last year. The only nation bucking this trend thus far is Israel.
As far as the rest of your stuff. The world is NOT getting worse and worse and poverty is NOT growing but the opposite is happening. I could list it all myself but I'll just let this guy point out the rest of the stats.
