Prophecies of Ezekiel 37

Hi I like to group Ezekiel 36-38 into one area as many of things are partly fulfilled by Israel being a nation again and being gathered into the land. If you note all the specifics in these 3 chapters that have not yet come to pass we can see a list of things to come. This is an incredible list and puts to shame replacement theology as these promises are not to the church but to the nation.

That is indeed a profound statement!

I would tend to believe that was fulfilled in the 70ad "holocaust" of Jerusalem with the destruction of the OC Temple and Priesthood. 1 million + Jews perished in Jerusalem and Judea according to Josephus.........

Ezekiel 37:
1 There hath been upon me a hand of Yahweh, and He taketh me forth in the Spirit of Yahweh, and doth place me in the midst of the valley, and it is full of bones
Then said He unto me "Son of adam! Can these bones live".
And I said " Adonai Yahweh, Thou knowest!
10 And I prophecy as He instructed and the spirit/breath is coming in them and they are living and are standing on their feet, an army/host, great, exceedingly-exceedingly.
11 And He is saying to me "Son of Adam, the bones, these are whole house of Yisra'el they behold! ones saying ' bones of us dry, our hope perishes, we are severed to ourselves'. [Luke 2:34/ Revelation 11:11]

Jesus is the prophecied One to come for the lost sheep of Israel and bring Judah and Israel together:

Luke 2:34
and Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mariam his mother "behold!, this-one is set for the falling and resurrection of many in Israel, and for a sign spoken against--

A similar event is shown happening in Revelation concerning the 2 witnesses preaching to Israel:

Revelation 11:11
And after the three days and half-equal, a spirit/breath of Life out of YHWH entered in them, and they stand on their feet and fear, great falls on the ones beholding them.

According to Ezekiel 39, the Gentiles and Israelites are gathered together at Armageddon, which is probably around Jerusalem and Judea.
There are many of us who view that as fulfilled upon the holocaust destruction of Jerusalem in 70ad......
That battle wasn't fought with tanks, cruise rockets, laser guided bombs, howitzers, etc.
Where the Temple was, there is now a bright shiny gold dome supposedly sitting where Herod's Temple stood.........

Josephus' account of that event is interesting reading, even for non Christians and Jews alike.

Ezekiel 22:
19 Therefore, thus said Adonay Yahweh: Because of your all becoming dross, Therefore, behold! I am gathering you unto the midst of Jerusalem,
20 A gathering of silver, and brass, and iron, and lead, and tin, Unto the midst of a furnace — to blow on it fire, to melt it,
So do I gather in Mine anger and in My fury, And I have let rest, and have melted you.

Ezekiel 39:
17 " And thou son of adam! thus says my Adonay Yahweh,
say thou! to bird of every wing, and to all of beast of the field:
'be assembled ye! and come ye! together ye from round about on sacrifice of Me which I sacrificing for ye, a great Sacrifice great on Mountains of Israel, and ye eat flesh and ye drink blood.
18 Flesh of mighty-ones ye shall eat, and blood of princes of the Land ye shall drink.....

Revelation 19
17 And I perceived one messenger standing in the sun, and he cries-out in great voice, saying to all the birds, the ones flying in mid-heaven, "hither! be ye being gathered! into the Supper of the Great God.
18 That ye may be eating fleshes of kings......[Zeph 1:17/Ezekiel 39:19]

Ezekiel 37 concerns the resurrection/standing up of the 1st century Jews who came to Christ. The Christian NT book of Revelation appears to be showing that event?

Ezekiel 37:10 So I prophesied as He commanded me and a breath/spirit came into them and they lived and they stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army.
11 Then He said to me, "Son of adam, these bones are the whole house of Israel.
[Revelation 11:11]
