If I get your meaning straight, you're in favor of executing prisoners --even those convicted of the least crimes--to save them from being raped.

Have you taken a survey of prisoners to see how they feel about that?

I'm not in favor of executing prisoners for lesser crimes.

I really don't care how things get done. I don't even care if you are right or I am right.

What I care about is getting things done without sinning.

I don't want people hurting people, whether in prison or out of prison.

God has killed millions or billions of people, is he sick? is he cruel?

Is killing criminals a sin? Did God sin millions or billions of times for killing evil doers?

Noah's flood how many died then?

I want more criminal to be executed and I believe it is clear from the bible that God isn't against criminal being executed.

The things that go on in America everyday is terrible, the government must do more to protect people.
P. S. You are calling God a mass murderer and phrasing it as a question. Since murder is a sin, you are accusing God of sin. Are you even a believer?

I am a born again Christian. I apologize I should of added more to my initial statement.

When God kills it is not a sin.

Murder is the shedding of innocent blood.

Deuteronomy 19:13 13Show no pity. You must purge from Israel the guilt of shedding innocent blood, so that it may go well with you.

Whoever is best at debating or not, doesn't mean the truth comes out.

However; it gets done as long as it doesn't get done through sinning. I want prisoners protected and I want everyone else to be protected.

How many rapist re-offend when they get out? How could anyone know that number anyways? What if they re-offend and no one knows?

If you put them back into society and they re-offend that is not good. If you leave them in prison for life how do you protect other prisoners and guards? Guards have been raped.

How can you prevent these people from ever hurting anyone else? Whether that person is a fellow prisoner or guard?

If I was falsely accused and put in prison for life or if I was painlessly executed both situations would be horrible.

No debate, intended... I saw the humor in the post and jumped. I fully understand your point and respect your view as your view. I agree to disagree, but again, respect that you have taken the time to share your thoughts and open dialogue on this.

All Love in Jesus Christ to you.

From your whole shpeal, it seems to me that you do not understand the heart of God. God wants everyone to be saved. And you are no better than someone in prison.
Do you get that?

I meant to say killed not murdered. How do I edit the title?

God literally kills every single human or else no one dies.
God's job on earth is to save souls such that no one dies in the future world. He killed all humans with the flood because those souls cannot be saved by Law thus they have no meaning to exist.
He killed the Canaanites or else it's the Jews would have been wiped out that His salvation message won't reach today's humans. In this whole scenario, Satan has all the freewill to lead humans to death.

To put it another way, God's morality is based off counting souls, while that of humans is based off whether an innocent being harmed.

Life in prison is not merciful. Really bad things happen in prison. If prisons were nice places, then I would agree that it would be merciful. If they were a place of rehabilitation and love and the main point was to separate them from society and equip them to grow in Jesus.

Mercy to wolves may be cruelty to the sheep. Earth is a place the two to be distinguished, by a standard in the form of a covenant. Jesus died once in order for such a covenant to be signed off as a matter of justification. It's cruel to ask Him to be crucified time and over again.

Killing a person who is in a fallen state takes away their chance for repentance and seals their fate in the lake of fire for all eternity. I wouldn’t wish that on anyone.

If you know of a better way to protect everyone, let's hear it.

I hope what you say about me is wrong, but if it is true then please pray for me and everyone else.

I want people to be protected. Are you against war at all cost as well?

Wellllll.... There is Joel 2:12, but that's going to be a pretty nasty time. Depending on one's eschatology... but, yes... good point.

Making a man more keenly aware of his impending demise makes him consider his afterlife more seriously. Letting him languish in prison allows him to take his time for granted.

God does not want anyone to die, but to repent and live.

But, barring that, "God will whet his sword;
he has bent and readied his bow; he has prepared for him his deadly weapons, making his arrows fiery shafts." (Ezekiel, meet Psalm 7).

God warns men so they will turn and live. Those that heed not the warnings are in danger of temporal and/or eternal death.

John 8 what verse? He said in John 8 that he who is without sin should cast the first stone.
The whole way you started this post is off ...
Read Ezekial 18. God does not want anyone to die, but to repent and live. Are your motives here in line with God's? It sounds like you want to be judge, jury, and executioner.
Try again.

Jesus said in John 8, "Let the one without sin cast the first stone."

Another reason I'm against capital punishment is that it is inimical to a pro-life ethic.

If your OK to kill others then why are you not OK when God does it?

I think if you read all my post you will find that I believe it is ok when God does it. I never said that I was going to do anything. Don't twist my words. I believe the government has the authority that's all.

Letting a person wallow in anguish is exactly the type of situation that causes many to turn to God, when there are no other alternatives. In many cases it take a person feels helpless and in misery with no way out to ask God for help. Killing a person takes away that opportunity. What’s the big problem with criminals sitting in jail? Is it a money issue? If so what price would you put on a chance for saving lost souls?
