I would pay money to see his tantrum when he finds out the courts he packed with “his judges” are powerless when it comes to impeachment. The only part the judicial branch has in the process is John Roberts would get to be the judge in the Senate proceeding.

There are not the votes in Congress and the senate for impeachment, sadly.

House is a toss up if there is the votes or not. I agree then Senate doesn’t have the votes to remove him from office but I think impeaching Trump on everything (Mueller Report, emoluments, DOJ going after his political enemies, the border fiasco) and having that take up the news cycle day after day after day at the end of which every Senator has to state they are okay with this or not. It might give the Democrats the Senate.

Arizona, Colorado, and Maine are tough defends for Republican seats in 2020. Lay everything out on the table for the American people to see and what do those three Senators do? Ditch Trump, enrage their base, and become unemployed. Or keep Trump, fire up the opposition, and become unemployed.

There are enough Americans not paying attention and don’t know everything going on with this administration. Impeachment proceedings will bring everything to light. I know Trump will likely still be president come Halloween 2020. But the American people will go into Election Day with eyes wide open and know exactly where each member of Congress stands on Trump.

No matter how hard they try, and they do, you have to give them that, the most Popular Elected President in History is untouchable and unstoppable. The Democrats just need to get over the fact that their Soros supported Chosen One Hillary lost and stop trying to derail the United States. They are trying to start a civil war with their shenanigans.

Does this incompetent know anything about the country he’s supposed to be leading....?

He knows that he is the President and you are not…
When people spoke down on President Barack Obama, he said something like > you can say whatever you want, but I'm the President and you aren't. I think the meaning was that he had what it took to become President, no matter what anyone said about him.

And President Donald has managed to get about half of America's voters to select him. And it seems he is being offered for impeachment about things which voters have been able to investigate before they decided to vote for him. So, if he qualifies for impeachment > such voters . . . half or so of American voters . . . collaborated with him getting in. So, how reasonable were the sources which accused him before the American voters put him in? If they were legally credible, it could be edible that those voters also need to be prosecuted . . . or not??

He guaranteed how he would indict Hillary, but he did not keep his word. He promised the wall, and ones voted him in.

I am curious if there needs to be an amendment that requires a candidate to keep promises . . . which on the ballot, maybe, voters certify must be done.

For example, if a candidate promises to double funds for local schools, the voters can check off this promise, along with their vote for that candidate, and the candidate and others in office must keep that promise, by constitutional law. There would be specified items on the ballot, which voters could enforce.

It comes as no surprise that Trump has shown yet again that he doesn't understand what the Constitution actually says.
He doesn't care what the Constitution says.

He won't be impeached, and if he is it won't be successful.. He will probably win in 2020 as well..

How do you like those apples?
I don’t care for politics based on “owning” those who you disagree with.

And President Donald has managed to get about half of America's voters to select him.

Way fewer than that.

Nope. The counter-intelligence investigations into his campaign staff weren't made public until after the election. Granted, he did admit he wanted Russia's help on live TV, but without the extra context and knowing that members of his family were secretly meeting with Russians at the same time it was hard to figure out what he actually meant.

Why would Pelosi want to get rid of the 200 ton anchor that sits atop the USS Republican Party?

That is a significant tactical point you just made. But shouldn't using tactics be beneath using justice in a moral hierarchy? Pelosi is very smart, and I see why she doesn't want it, but the reason "impeachment doesn't provide us with advantages" seems less ethical than "the president needs to be investigated for obstruction of justice". It makes me think less of Pelosi.
