I meant to say killed not murdered. How do I edit the title?

God has killed millions or billions of people, is he sick? is he cruel?

Is killing criminals a sin? Did God sin millions or billions of times for killing evil doers?

Noah's flood how many died then?

I want more criminal to be executed and I believe it is clear from the bible that God isn't against criminal being executed.

The things that go on in America everyday is terrible, the government must do more to protect people.

My title was mention to get people's attention. God is perfect, so no I'm not accusing God of anything.

Are you asking if God is evil and/or if He sinned, TRVL ONE?

I’m not sure how I feel about criminal execution, on one hand I believe everyone deserves a second chance, who knows maybe life in prison might lead them to find Jesus before they die. On the other hand, actually now that I think of it, Jesus seems to be against violence and killing, so I think we shouldn’t condone the death penalty.

Read John 8 where God made flesh gave the requirements for the executioners.

Read John 8 where God made flesh gave the requirements for the executioners.
God used this as a one time example not to declare for all times that execution is never a punishment. In the book of revelation God sends his servants(angels) to execute the children of wrath.

In fact Jesus did not sentence this woman to ANY punishment for her sins. If I go along with your thinking, then Jesus said that there is NO punishment at all ever. Which is not true.

Do you consider yourself as meeting Christ's qualification to be an executioner?

No I don't have that authority, I'm not in the government.

The story of this woman, does not give qualifications as to who is to be an executioner. That is not the purpose of this story. If I went with your logic in this situation then there would be NO PUNISHMENT for breaking ANY laws.

There's a difference between "no punishment" and "no capital punishment." Can you grasp this.

Forget about the government. Do you meet Christ's on standard to be an executioner? Just answer yes or no.

Yes my little minds grasps this. Your question is wrong, so I am not going to give you an answer of yes or no.

Jesus does not give a standard to be an executioner. The woman went away without being punished at all. With your reasoning all criminal offenses would never have any punishment.

That's neither what I meant nor what I said.

Are you saying that when the Savior said, "Let the one who is without sin cast the first stone," He ws being meaningless?

And just why is my question wrong?

I never said that people found guilty of crimes should not be punished.

Another reason I'm against capital punishment is that it is inconsistent with a pro=life ethic.

He what not being meaningless; however he did not outline the qualifications for capital punishment either.

Well if you want to fund prisoners lifetime in prison instead of death then go ahead. Try keeping them protected in prison from all the evil that happens there.

Please notice that I never said Jesus was outlinging when capital punishment was required.

Do you fantasize about brining your knitting to a public execution, like Madame DeFarge?

I believe capital punishment is more humane than life in prison. If people want to pay for life in prison that is on them.

Jesus did not lay out the qualification of people that could stone the woman to death. God instructed people to stone people to death in the OT and none of those people were perfect.

Being perfect was never a qualification to stone someone to death. What was the purpose for Jesus saying "Whoever is sinless throw the first stone?"

He was telling the world that he is sinless and he chose to show mercy to that woman. It does not mean that capital punishment was now off the table.

A person could argue that life in prison or the death penalty is never commended or instructed to be a form of punishment in the NT. It pretty much just says that governments have that power to punish people and doesn't give details on how

Hebrews 2:14

It was never actually God.

One harms the Body... But God has atoned for ALL human Souls (1 John 2:2)... this doesn't make Universalism true, as God included Hard, Incontrovertible, Free Will with the package... so there will be that.

Put it this way, God respects Free Will so deeply, that He's willing to fight for what He created.

The Flood was to prevent Human extinction. This is easily proofable, scripturally.

God has swept away flesh to give the soul Hope. ;)

Life in prison is not merciful. Really bad things happen in prison. If prisons were nice places, then I would agree that it would be merciful. If they were a place of rehabilitation and love and the main point was to separate them from society and equip them to grow in Jesus.
