I think it might be worth pointing out that, "Till death do us part" ain't Orthodox...that's kinda like Fr Damascene's point about our being male and female. some distinction will continue, but what exactly we cannot say.

Marriage as we know it is only for this life. Neither carnality nor procreation will exist in the next life. Church Fathers such as Athenagoras believed Christians should mate with their wives to propagate the species not to satisfy carnal urges. Hence why we say a sister or brother in Christ and never potential lover in Christ.What about if someone married more than once?
