One does not have to be daft at all if that is the truth. All it takes is telling a big enough lie often enough and people start believing it is true. When Church leaders tell people that life begins at birth, people believe that. When church leaders change their minds when some political pundit starts telling people human life starts are conception, their congregations start changing their minds too.

Look at all the things church leaders added to the Christian tradition over the past two thousand years. And every single time, the people were 'daft' enough to go along with it.

So, yeah, -I- think they are daft enough to change when someone becomes human because of a political campaign. Christians desperately want to be part of the 'in group' and when that group changes something, Christians hop right on the wagon.

After all, look how many Christians think Donald Trump is one of them.

You've been told a fairy tale, and at some point you've believed it to be true. The opposition to murdering children didn't start recently, or in America. How cold can one get.

I'm opposed to murdering children. A mass of cells unable to exist outside a body is not a child. A child is what naturally comes out of woman's body kicking and screaming.

I understand why religionists continue to pretend they are defending children. But they are being dishonest when they do.

I'm okay with you thinking otherwise and living YOUR life believing differently. Imposing your religious beliefs onto everyone is wrong.

Anti-Abortion goes back to the Early Church Fathers themselves. I don't think of it as a political issue like most people do. I think about it religiously and I go by what my religion has always taught. It doesn't really matter what the Church of England started to believe in the 20th century.
Well, when one could expect to lose up to 50% of children before they reached adulthood (due to disease, and “minor” injuries that simply would not heal, etc.), while living in an agrarian culture, abortion would have been counterproductive, (at best).

But with the United States’ childhood morality down to ~0.65%, a mother of four might choose not to be a mother of five?

You want a link from a dumpster in 1984? I don’t think Al Gore had invented the internet as of yet.

What was shown was legs, arms, a half torso, most of the face and pieces of skull. Wrapped in crumpled up blue paper and thrown in with approximately 15 others. I saw them with my own eyes. It is the foundation of why I am so vocal about the murder of children.
This was from where. And I prefers a link. Because people tend to exaggerate.

Near my home and there is no link from 1984.
What's the abortion mill called. I'm sure my gallbladder got thrown away. When it was taken out. That's what typically happens. But I'm sure it was put in a bag. When it was disposed.

Do you suppose the history of the 1970-80s has changed between 2014 and now?
History is always changing. The elites re-jigger it until it suits them. Then they re-jigger it again for fun. What really happened is a different matter entirely.

I was very active in the church in the 70's.

I cant remember anyone believing life started at birth.

We were all aware of Jeremiah 1:5

"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."
It's to easy for most woman to get knocked, with sperm. It doesn't sound believable that applies to most babies. I guess God formed lesbians and gay peoples babies in the womb too.

God is outside of time and can see in advance what choices we make.
Then we are predestined and have no actual choices because...by the definition of God...we are unable to make Him wrong. Whatever He sees 'in advance' is impossible to do differently.

And, of course, you know the 'un-jigger' truth, right?

I suspect I take your version and go about 120 degrees south of that.

Actually, why the attitude? What have I done to you?

You use innuendo to try to make it look like I bring fake news here.

God is outside of time and can see in advance what choices we make.
And so, how might I choose “differently”?
If I cannot ever hope to “surprise” God, then how can I tell if I truly have agency in my own experience of life?

Abortion being counter productive during a time where many children and even mothers died at birth and at a young age has nothing to do with the ECFs declaring that babies in the womb are human beings and should not be killed.

Right, but at the time, abortion also wasn’t illegal, until “quickening”.
(Also, drawing a blank on “ECFs”? Que?)

Well, I'm not impressed with the Politico article as it simply does not address the kind of people I have met in the pro-life cause. And it says we are pawns in a segregationist ploy. To me it is a re-jiggering of history to say that pro-life people are fulfilling a Weyrich fantasy. I think that is a very flawed understanding. It's not news, but it is a rewriting of history that I find skewed. If you think that means I hate you because you posted it here, that's your business. Your article simply does not coincide with my experience. It's a re-jiggered history.

Did your gall bladder have arms, legs, part of a torso and half a face?

I didn't say I thought you hated me.

The people you have met in the pro-life cause may well have been very sincere and still not aware they were being used as pawns in a segregationist ploy.

According to the article the segregationists -used- these people to bulk up the vote counts for the Republican party's segregationist ambitions. Just because you didn't know you were being used doesn't mean you weren't being used. Your lived history may appear to you differently because you didn't know you were being used.

That is the advantage of learning new things.
