That might be the basis of your problem. The Bible was not written as a theological text book. It was designed to be read through like any other book. The chapter and verse divisions are inventions of a translator. To get a good understanding of what is written, you have to sit down and read whole passages of what the author has written and to see what point he is making. Just taking single verses out of context is the basis of error and the twisting of Scripture to make it say things that it does not say.

Well that has no truth in it. Something your making up again. I have always provided context especially in our discussions. You simply ignore the scriptures posted or address the questions asked of you. I think the most recent one in our discussions in some other thread was HEBREWS 10 or 6 wasn't it?

Those are two great examples of not providing context. In fact, when I gave a rebuttal to Hebrews 10 in another thread, I posted most of the chapter and explained the context of the two verses you used. I showed that in the context of the chapter, it didn’t mean what you claimed. I think your rebuttal was to just repost your argument. No context.

Well that is not true I provided context. You did not believe it. As shown in my reply post to you v1-14 is discussing OLD COVENANT. That is where you stopped while v15 to 31 was discussing NEW COVENANT addressed to BELIEVERS. You simply ignored this which was the CONTEXT to v26-27.

We both know why you aren’t answering. The reason is that Jesus said that they didn’t believe because they weren’t His sheep. There is a specific cause He gives.

I think it is because you do not answer questions asked of you. You have already had this answered through the scripture showing that in v27 God's Sheep are all those who BELIEVE and FOLLOW God's WORD v26 show those who do not BELIEVE God are not his Sheep. Your just repeating yourself because you did not believe it.

I have already addressed it through the scriptures showing v27 defines God's Sheep as those who HEAR his VOICE (the WORD) and FOLLOW it. You did not believe it. Perhaps we should agree to disagree.
