Nobody thought for a second everything about him is a bit of a facade. And now it's basically impossible to truly figure him out because he's so comfortable lying has no personal moral that compels him to focus on truth telling.
My opinion is that he has never been able to tell truth from whatever that “stream-of-consciousness/reality” that flows through his mind.
(We all interpret “reality” in our own way, but his borders on “Saint/crazy-man”.)

Honest - not 100% sure, but how someone who isn't competent and successful could turn 14 million into 4 or 5 billion is beyond my understanding. That is a increase of 321 times the starting funds. If he was stupid, why doesn't anyone else do it?

It's like the people who say he can only read on a grade school level, or can't read - or is senile or mentally unfit - well then how could a person like that defeat 16 seasoned and qualified candidates for the party nomination and then win against the "best qualified" candidate for president - who out spent him by 200%"?

Just doesn't make sense

You mean the 450 million he got from his father?

Oh, please. His enemies both inside his own party and in the other party swore to do everything possible to make his time in the White House untenable and unproductive, to prevent needed legislation from being enacted, and to slow down the normal functioning of government in any way possible. Now they are telling the public that HE is dividing the nation when it is they who have done it!

Hi albion,

All I will say is that we, believers, should all be thanking God that such people do exist.

You honestly believe that calling people derogatory names as the President of the United States isn't a divisive action? You honestly believe that a president who has sat down exactly twice with Democrats and then promptly walked right out of the room in two and a half years as the leader of the United States isn't divisive? That a man who blames absolutely everything on Democrats, even going so far as to call Republicans who don't agree with him Democrats, to label them 'looney and crazy' Democrats, isn't creating divisiveness?

Friend, you just haven't been listening to your own boss. He's on record that he enjoys that kind of atmosphere around him. He wants people that work for him to be prone to both back stabbing and being back stabbed, because he says, yes, the very words came out of his mouth, he finds they work better. If you're going to fight the argument that you're bringing up, then you'd better go talk to the one you're defending and explain to him that telling people that he likes to work with people who are divided and back stabbing isn't helping your case.

God bless,
In Christ, ted

That doesn't go into effect until there are 270 votes' worth of states signed on. Until then, nothing changes.
Not sure about that...but I AM sure that there are about five states, Washington and Illinois included, that won't place any candidate on their 2020 (and future) ballots unless (s)he shares his tax returns.

Good for them! Like they would vote for The Most Popular President in all Time anyway.

Looks like you've drunk the kool-aid ...

From ... Poll: 60 percent say Trump should not be reelected

Poll: 60 percent say Trump should not be reelected

A new poll finds that a strong majority of voters believes that President Trump does not deserve a second term in office.

A Monmouth University survey released Wednesday found that only 37 percent of voters believe Trump should be reelected, while 60 percent said they think it’s time to have someone new in the White House.

That’s the highest percentage of voters saying they’re eager for change since Monmouth first began asking the question in November. The numbers come weeks ahead of Trump's expected official launch for his 2020 reelection campaign.

Trump’s approval rating is at 40 percent positive and 52 percent negative. That’s at the low end of his approval ratings for the past 12 months, during which time his positive rating has been from 40 to 44 percent and his negative rating has ranged from 46 to 54 percent.

The president’s approval rating remains high among Republicans, at 86 percent positive. Thirty-seven percent of independents have a favorable view of Trump, compared to 50 percent who view him unfavorably.

The poll also found deep pessimism about the direction of the country, with 29 percent of respondents saying the U.S. is on the right track and 63 percent saying it is headed in the wrong direction.

Well we all know "polls" are super reliable.
I remember when the "polls" said Hillary would win by a landslide.

Hi, Ted. Honestly, I'm made uncomfortable reading something that brings God into a comment like that one which applauds immoral behavior.

The excuse that is available to you, however, owes to the fact that you were working from the purposely unspecific wording I chose to use instead of saying, point blank, what those people have done to everyone else in this country.

:sigh:

Albion, I am glad you see what Mitch McConnell did during the Obama years. This insight has, I am sure, made you realize that Merrick Garland should be on the Supreme Court, along with 96 lower federal court judges he blocked, and that numerous pieces of legislation should have been passed.

I admire the insight you have shared. To recognize McConbell's treachery is a big step.

I thank the universe there are people willing to stand up to this president's immorality and disregard for the office he holds.

Merrick Garland's nomination was handled exactly in accordance with the policies then in effect.

The Democratic Party leadership in Congress, when it was in the majority, had announced that thereafter these were what would be followed the next time such a nomination came along. lt was unfortunate for the Democrats that the sitting president at the time one did occur happened to be a member of the Republican Party--something we all know that they had not expected.

I will dig up the address of the DNC if you would like to complain to the people who created the situation you are now upset about.

Nothing to get over.
Maybe you were having a conversation with yourself.
Facetiousness can be used sarcastically.
Such was the basis of my comment.
Have a wonderful day under King Donald!
