" Scientists have now been able to show that water came to Earth with the formation of the moon.
...We have used molybdenum isotopes to answer this question. The molybdenum isotopes allow us to clearly distinguish carbonaceous and non-carbonaceous material
...The measurements made by the researchers from Münster show that the molybdenum isotopic composition of the Earth lies between those of the carbonaceous and non-carbonaceous meteorites, demonstrating that some of Earth's molybdenum originated in the outer solar system.
most of the molybdenum in Earth's mantle was supplied by the protoplanet Theia, whose collision with Earth 4.4 billion years ago led to the formation of the Moon. However, since a large part of the molybdenum in Earth's mantle originates from the outer solar system, this means that Theia itself also originated from the outer solar system."
Formation of the moon brought water to Earth: New research explains how Earth became a habitable planet
So to explain why some isotopes on earth appear to be from out of the solar system, we have a godless, elaborate, baseless fable devised here. Science in action, kids.
It occurs to me that Greek mythology is similar.
"In Greek mythology, Theia (/ˈθiːə/; Ancient Greek: Θεία, romanized: Theía, also rendered Thea or Thia), also called Euryphaessa "wide-shining", is a Titaness. Her brother/consort is Hyperion, a Titan and god of the sun, and together they are the parents of Helios (the Sun), Selene (the Moon), and Eos (the Dawn). "
Theia - Wikipedia
The Greeks had the parents of the sun and moon embodied as a goddess. Same spirit behind modern science!!! Amazing.
Proof some object hit the moon...ZERO
Did munster consider that the windows of heaven were once opened bring more water (isotopes) to earth from the far side of the universe? No. Or, that maybe Jesus created the earth (before anything existed outside the solar system) with stuff to be later found out there also? (once the stars and etc were put in the space out there) No etc etc
Their whole game it to conjure up godless fantasies with no proof to try and form a believable (for some) account of how God's creation got here. I call this demonic blasphemy, not science.
