Why We Should Close America's Overseas Military Bases

I've always believed that we shouldn't be going out of our way to police the world. But then again, if America didn't deploy troops some problems would be worse.

For many years Japan and Germany were prohibited from having armies because of their actions in WWII. Because they were in danger from Russia and China, the U.S. established bases there.

Some problems... but not ours. Other countries need to learn to deal with their own issues. We can't be expected to babysit them forever.

What if those other countries aren't strong enough to fight those terrorists?
