Senior week in Cancun??

...somehow, I don't think that is quite her thing, Dirk! And it's probably a good thing that it's not, too!

Lol it was half a joke because I assumed it wasn’t her thing, but not totally a joke. Because I was thinking that if I was a high school graduate again (Cancun senior weeks weren’t a thing back then), and Cancun group flight deals were on the table but I wasn’t a partier... I would partially feel annoyed that partiers would have a monopoly on such incredible beaches, and I’d think about just going and doing my own thing there. Probably not practical though, probably way too much pier pressure ha.

Of course you didn’t exactly have to force beer down my throat when I was 18 haha

...that's strange. I'm older than you and I can definitely say that 'Cancun' type senior weeks were a 'thing' during my high school years. They weren't a thing for me, but I could sure tell which of my fellows students had the sun-burns afterward and which didn't when they returned to school.

Oh ok, I could have had tunnel vision too, for my high school nobody would go there, then I knew younger people who later went to my high school and Cancun was the place to go. Also maybe I just thought rich kids went there and it was very rare.

I was a pretty lightweight ‘Partier’ also, even where I went I did way less drinking than most people. That’s why I was thinking maybe it’d be practical to break away and do your own thing with no drinking at all. The beaches are incredible (but possibly way too packed to enjoy during senior week anyway).
