"Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything." (James 1)

“Suffering is a great grace; through suffering the soul becomes like the Savior; in suffering love becomes crystallized; the greater the suffering, the purer the love.” (Diary of St. Faustina)

Honestly, talking to the Compassion Pregnancy Center people about your situation might be a good option.

You could donate money instead, so you wouldn't have to go through all of that.
This is also a great idea. You can also see if your church has fundraising drives for the center; my church has one, and it's very successful. If your church doesn't do this, talking to them about starting it would be a great thing to do. Offer it as prayers for your sadness; whether or not it works, God will see your effort, and treat you accordingly.

And pray. Always pray.

May God bless us all!

Thank you both for your responses! I ended up talking to a counselor at the Pregnancy Center and that led me to another counselor who could better help me with what was going on. Long story short, we're now dealing with the troubling emotions I've been having via therapy and it's going great so far. Thanks for the suggestions, by the way.
