To me the Bible, as well as world history, is very clear evidence that humankind's understanding of God and what God requires of us has absolutely evolved. And for the better, not degenerate.

But evolution doesn't talk about society. Evolution just talks about biological life.

Could you supply some Scriptural proof showing God and/or His Word evolves?
I seem to remember..

Malachi 3:6 (KJV) For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

Ezekiel 24:14 (KJV) I the LORD have spoken it: it shall come to pass, and I will do it; I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I repent; according to thy ways, and according to thy doings, shall they judge thee, saith the Lord GOD.

It’s an adjective more applicable to the quality of threads on this forum these days.....

Deuteronomy 2:33-34, And the Lord our God delivered him over to us; and we defeated him with his sons and all his people. So we captured all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed the men, women and children of every city. We left no survivor.

New Testament: He who is without sin cast the first stone. Go and sin no more.

God hasn't changed, one Day He will resume His campaign...

Right now, He is holding back Judgment, hence 'He who is without sin, cast the frist stone'.

We can disagree. Perhaps when we meet in heaven we can compare notes and have fun figuring out who got the most right and who got the most wrong.

If a certain feature of an organism turns out to be a hindrance to their survival (say, a brightly colored coat on a rodent that has no other defense against predators than hiding), they would evolve to eventually lose that feature.
