I am grateful that no matter what is going on around me God is in sovereign control and He is all that matters.

Being greedy I'll add another, I am grateful that I could sit outside and watch all the birds in the garden so happy after some rain, singing with joy as we haven't had rain for months. It also reminded me of Jesus telling us how God cares for the birds and feeds them and how He knows all that we need and we are to not worry about these things.
Thank you Heavenly Father.
That conjures up a lovely picture Heavenhome. :)

I'm flying to visit with my son and his family day after tomorrow. I've been looking forward to this for a long time. We'll be there 4 days.

I hope you have/had a good time Tom! :)

Today I'm grateful for my computer, and all the good ways in which it can be used.

My wife and I just flew in from Nashville, TN are are home safe. We had a great time. My daughter and her family also went, so we had quite a gathering. All of the grandsons had a good time playing together. We're tired, and it's also good to be home.

It sounds like you had a lovely time. It is always so nice to get home though.

Can you imagine how we will feel when we are in our eternal home, if this is how lovely we feel in our homes now?

I am grateful to God that as lovely as today was, as it is getting cold now (late afternoon) I can go inside by a lovely warm woodheater.
I feel such sorrow for those without homes and cannot imagine what it is like.
God has cared for me yet another day and reminds me He will supply all my needs.

Glad you had a great time and returned home safely Tom. :)

I know - I feel so sorry for the homeless too. Nobody should be living on the streets. :( :prayer:

I'm grateful that the Lord knows our needs better than we do. He's given me a lovely home, with wonderful neighbours. Thank you Lord!

I am grateful that amidst all the turmoil in the world, climate problems, politics .etc and sorrowing over these things: we have a God we can trust who will, in His perfect time,
make all things right and at this moment I can sit outside with just the birds for background and remember this.

Have a blessed day everyone:wave:

My oldest grandson graduated from high school Friday, and the exercises were yesterday. I'm so proud of him. First, he loves the Lord, so the rest is just icing on the cake. He's going to Oklahoma State University - close enough for him to come home every now and then to see us. We're very proud of him.

Congratulations on his academic success and how great that he loves the Lord. :) It must be good to know that he will be going off to University with a solid faith to guide him through those years. What will he be studying?

Today I'm grateful for the world-wide family of God, including you all, and for being able to communicate with each other from around the world. :)

For another Gaither Vocal Band DVD - I love those guys!

That makes at least two of us. They are very popular in my part of the country.

...and today I'm grateful for other GVB fans on here!

I can imagine that they are. :)

The pre-2010 DVDs aren't available over here, so I'm grateful that I was able to get a second-hand VHS for the "I Do Believe" concert, and that I'd kept my old VHS/TV combo! :D I also love some of their behind the scenes clips.

BTW does anyone know about subscribing to their You Tube channel?

My oldest grandson starts college tomorrow at OSU in Oklahoma. It's about 45 minutes to home, so we'll get to see him often.

How nice for you Tom. I hope all goes well for him in college - an exciting time of life. :)

Today I'm grateful that my new DVD player is multi-region, so I can buy the earlier GVB DVDs, and for just getting their 2009 reunion DVD.
