Most conservatives won't give up until God confronts them, and He will very soon. It's not as if the Republican Party has the moral high ground and isn't politically corrupt within itself as the Democratic Party. Both liberals and conservatives are guilty of immoral behavior and corruption. It isn't one-sided.
Why would God of the Bible confront those who believe in Him?

Amen! Sixteen years of Obama/Clinton. And Dems want to blame Trump.

They think that only democrats can "inherit" problems of previous administrations.

Yep. Obama deported a record number of illegal immigrants, focusing on dangerous criminals first. Deportations have dropped in the last two years, as Trump mismanages border security. And now, illegal immigration is rising again. All that's on Trump's watch and he's responsible.

That's how it works. Get used to it.

President Trump has made no secret about his intentions to deport illegal immigrants. His statements as well as administrative actions to remove certain guidelines that focused enforcement efforts on criminals has understandably caused a lot of concern among illegal immigrants, their American families, and those concerned with their plight. They should take comfort that the Trump administration’s efforts to boost arrests, the necessary precursor to a deportation, are stymied by limited local and state law enforcement cooperation with the federal government when it comes to identifying illegal immigrants.

Recently released data on the number of arrests by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) shows that they are arresting many fewer illegal immigrants under Trump’s administration than under President Obama’s, at least through June of 2018. During the first full 17 months of the Obama administration, from February 2009 through June 2010, ICE arrested 437,671 illegal immigrants. For the same first full 17 months of the Trump administration, ICE arrested 226,138 illegal immigrants, about half the number arrested during the same period in Obama’s administration.

Here's why, according to Reuters: U.S. deportations down in 2017 but immigration arrests up - Reuters
"Another reason for fewer deportations was that although immigration arrests are up, a burgeoning backlog in U.S. immigration courts has slowed the removal of immigrants who claim they will be harmed if they are deported to their home countries."

Formerly, such people weren't arrested, but put into the process for determining their status. By separating children from parents, Trump is putting a huge burden in ICE, which means they have less time to deal with illegal immigrants.

That's why he's having such trouble managing the situation.

The Dallas Federal Reserve Bank published a study last year showing Texas was the fourth largest destination for international migrants to the United States — after California, Florida and New York — from 2010 to 2017. Since 2005, Texas has gained, on average, 94,000 international migrants per year.

The percentage of non-U.S.-born residents in Texas rose from 9 percent in 1990 to 17.1 percent in 2017.

While the U.S.-born population living in Texas has grown by 31 percent since 2000, the foreign-born population has grown by 67 percent in that time.

Texas is increasingly an immigrant-driven economy.

And as everyone can plainly see, the Texas economy and state and local governments have really stagnated under the weight of all this immigration.

Ha, ha, no, just kidding. It’s the opposite. The Texas economy is booming. But then curious minds want to know: Is the boom because of, or despite of, immigration?

The relationship between economic growth, government finances and immigration is complex and complicated to measure. To add to the complexity, we have both documented and undocumented immigrants entering the state economy.

I’ve found a number of data points on immigration interesting. Let’s start with state government finances and what I’ll assume is the more controversial group, undocumented immigrants.

In 2006, the Texas comptroller published a report that estimated the economic effects of immigration on public finances in Texas. One of its key takeaways was that undocumented immigrants provide a net positive impact on the Texas economy.

To dive a bit further, the report estimated these immigrants paid $2.09 billion in taxes at the state and local level, and ran up $2.6 billion in expenses. Most state expenses were for public education, while most local expenses were for health care. The net cost to state and local governments from undocumented immigration was $504 million.

That same study, however, attributed 2.1 percent of the Texas economy in 2005, or $17.7 billion in economic activity, to that same group.

Take away immigration, the comptroller’s 2006 report argued, and, yes, you could save $504 million in state and local government costs, but you’d also lose that $17.7 billion boost to the state economic.

Immigration makes Texas richer

Is this what you call profitable?

Yes, that's what it's called when something brings in more money than it costs.

You don't know that the Dems want illegals to pour into the US to vote Democrat? They're willing to give the Country away for votes.

Even republicans don't believe that story. It's just an excuse they make up to cover. Last presidential election, there were four cases of illegal voting. Three of them were for Trump and one was for another repubican.

They're willing to give the Country away for votes.

Nice try.

Illegals coming over the border and overwhelming Texas cities is profitable? Did you even click on the link I posted?

(Texas republican comptroller shows that Texas makes a multibillion dollar profit on illegal immigrants)

Illegals coming over the border and overwhelming Texas cities is profitable?

Illegal aliens coming into Texas and working here, is profitable for Texas. As of 2006, about 18 billion dollars a year profitable. I get around to a lot of Texas cities, and I haven't seen one "overwhelmed" yet. If you think otherwise, you know nothing about Texans. If someone is going to be overwhelmed, we'll be the ones doing it.

Did you even click on the link I posted?

Ah, that's Trump's mismanagement of border security. So a lot of people are taking advantage of a weak president and entering the country right now. It's not "overwhelming" Texas, which profits greatly from the economic contributions of undocumented workers. Yes it would be better if Trump got his act together and brought illegal immigration down to Obama-era levels. But that's not likely to happen, ever.

If freedom scares you that much, why not find a country without it?

You think your Dem leaders will take care of you?

You still don't get it. Freedom isn't about someone taking care of you. It's about you taking care of yourself. As long as republicans have you thinking the way you do, you'll stay scared of freedom.

Which for an American, is a shameful thing.

So you want to run all who disagree with you out of the Country?

C'mon. That's not even close to what I said. How dumb do you think people are?

How clever do you think you are?
