I thought there might be like 4 or 5 of us on CF that had ever read even more than 1
Guardian article, not because it's wrongly thought to have 'bias' more than any other newspaper (it's only normal in that instead), but merely because how many Brits are here, or how many Americans even read quality rags from the UK like
The Economist, The Times of London, The Guardian, The Independent, etc.?
Has anyone else here read at least several articles in any or all of these? I've no idea, but I'd guess it's unusual to even have read more than 1 in just 1 of them, except if we have some adventuresome readers.
So, why even try to characterize the
Guardian?? -- as the only people that would even have read a few
Guardian articles would know better than any simple characterization, or would not agree, and others would never read it....

I read it only as part of my explorations to read major papers of every kind from all around the world. I read the Guardian, just as I have ultraconservative
The Federalist. To read new things.

If you read widely enough in newspapers/magazines from around the world, you realize they all have their natural biases, which are merely unremarkable, but not even noteable. I'm
not looking for someone to tell me what to think, after all.
Here's a good quality American Magazine that is less biased than most any you'd find, in that it intentionally invites and publishes a very wide range of views, as it's normal routine.
It's also the hands-down leading American magazine, in my view, of many dozens I read plenty in years ago:
The Atlantic
(I see, that as usual, it has some interesting articles at the moment)
