Oh no, she's VERY soft and very cuddly! Sometimes she doesn't want it, but more often she demands it lol.

Pity - I'm just not happy round cats - not allergic - but I really don't like being round them

I guess to each his own. I never used to care overmuch for cats. I was always a "dog person". But a few particular cats changed my mind ... they adopted me lol.

One was a Maine Coone that was the most dog-like cat I'd ever seen. And my cat now is very much like a dog too, except when someone knocks on the door she doesn't bark but retreats to a safe distance and watches. But she follows me from room to room, does all kinds of tricks (her idea, not mine, she trains me as much as me training her lol), and manages to be an excellent communicator, which I used to think only dogs could express so much. I guess she was good for me - at times it would have been difficult to have and care for a dog.

My problem goes back many years - I think I was probably about 11 and away on holiday with friends .

At the guest house we were staying in there was an enormous cat - this didn't worry me till the day it jumped up onto my lap as we were having supper - I nearly tipped backwards in my surprise as this huge moggie landed on me - and I've not enjoyed being with them since,

Oh! I can understand then!

I was bitten badly by a pony when I was a small child and was nervous around equines for some time. Might have stood me well to keep my distance. One nearly killed me in my 20s.

And, the Puffins are back, at Seal Island. Maine!

And, Mama Osprey, starts in early, at keeping an eye on the kids!!

Speaking of Eagles..... A snoozing 6 week old Bald Eagle, taken about 15 minutes ago

There's one road on base that usually has some bald eagles perched around it.

We went swimming and had some semi-grilled chicken. That's celebrating for us lol.

Haha I wondered when I re-read my post if that would confuse anyone. But I didn't bother correcting or explaining.

It was cooked mostly inside on a nu-wave, and just grilled for a few minutes to add the grill flavor. I do that a lot. Lazy grilling lol.

One of those weird looking countertop oven thingies, from tv infomercials that is supposed to cook 75% faster, and with less energy.. That I don't have any counter space to even consider LOL
