Time to introduce myself!

Hi All:

I have been here about a month now and I should let people know my belief system

I am Nolidad and am 64 years old! I have a wonderful wife, 6 awesome kids, and 8 grandkids that are the greatest blessing ever. I will be retiring from my vocation at the USPS on July 3 after nearly 36 years.

I am a bible college graduate, administrator of a local church bible institute and have been teaching for over 35 years! I have been a believer since Oct. of 1974. I also have help over 9 churches establis disciple ministries in their churches, as well as do many small group home studies.

I have been on 5 missionary junket trips (2 to china, Argentina, New Mexico and Israel), ran an emergency food pantry for 5 years and was a volunteer chaplain at the local jail for 8 years.

I believe in the literal, historical grammatical interpretation of Scripture.
I believe dispensationalism is the best method of understanding Scripture
I am pre trib, pre mil rapturist.
I also am a five point calvinist.
I believe we also should look at the original languages to help understand and historical books on the biblical cultures to better understand how words were used!

I still am an ardent student of Scripture and hold my positions with a passion. I am willing to change what I believe ONLY if someone can present a better biblical argument than mine!

I don't admit perfection, but after 44 years- I have at least some kind of handle on the Word of God.

Over the last 15 years I have been on several discussion sites and have logged close to 30,000 repsonses.

I look forward to being here to encourage, exhort let iron sharpen iron, and be blessed by many as well!

Not a challenge- just to let people know where I stand!

Wow I didn't realize I had been here before! Glad to be back! I was on a secular site and pretty much had gone as far as I could go there.

Well other than some die hard evolutionists being stymied I did get some believers who were timid to get a lot bolder! This was a very open site- so there had been a lot of swearing my way!
