Hello all,
Lately a thought has been occupying my mind and now I will give some background for it.
I came to faith last year and before that I had been doing a weird kind of job-sending bike parts from different names so the guy I was working for could dodge taxes. This guy runs his business in the grey sector and once he got caught by the government and forced to pay around 20 000$ for avoiding taxes. However, the job gave me a good profit considering that:
-I didn't have to do much at all.
-I am a high school student.
After some time I got convicted that this is contradictory to the Bible teaching because we are supposed to give the wanted taxes and fees and to submit to authorities. I told the guy that I am out of this "business" and he let me go. I also didn't have much money from it because my family used them for various reasons (one of which was mouse invasion in the house, almost like Pharoah and the Exile story).

Few weeks after that, the same guy called me for another job-he wanted me to varnish some wood in his house. I thought: "Well, I am not going to trick the government so it must be fine.". In reality, he was building new compartments for his goods which are brought from abroad, again without paying taxes. I also skipped some church sermons which I listened online but the real interaction was missing.

Conclusion and question:
I am never going to do anything with this man's doings or any other unethical/illegal bussiness practices again.
I have some 140$ left, what should I do with them?

Your question is about what to do with the $140 you have left? Live on it until you find a new source of income.

Not long back I had a slightly similar situation but I don't want to give much info. I ended up with about £200 for five days. I just kept the money and worked the next Monday because I'd already agreed to however I didn't take the wages for Monday.

I still feel like a bit of a hypocrite but I try to see it as a mistake and one I've learned from. I was in the same dilemma but I think the important part is the decision to not do it again.
