All of the commandments hinge on the word LOVE and LOVE is what there is too little of.

True love comes through service. In order to love like the way Jesus loved a person needs to do the will of the Father.

Don't you remember that the Book of Mormon doesn't agree with the official First Vision and the Doctrine and Covenants? That is why potential converts are told to read the Book of Mormon instead of finding out what your other scriptures say!

Or they could read more of Joseph Smith's quotes (not oozing with kindness nor reverence for God):

"There are but a very few beings in the world who understand rightly the character of God. The great majority of mankind do not comprehend anything, either that which is past, or that which is to come, as it respects their relationship to God. God loved us first and He wants us to seek Him:
(New Testament | Matthew 6:32 - 33)

32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

He loved and forgave us and gave us eternal life. Contrary to Mormonism, eternal life can't be earned by obedience to specific laws.

Mat 19:21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
Mat 19:22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.

There are a lot of people following Satan and they are members of every church and also non-members. The tares are sewn among the wheat in every field:
